The investigated models of stator structures are large-sized motors, which stator cores are short and laminated, and types area horizontal in this thesis. This thesis presents an study of variations on natural frequencies and mode shapes of frame-with-stator in different stator models by FFT measured way、modal analysis、numerical simulation and finite element method (FEM). Compare the analytic and experimental result to find out the correct stator structure model、natural frequencies and mode shapes of the motor. We use the accelerometer, FFT analyzer and impulse hammer to measure the modal test of frequency response function from excitation response with FFT analyzer on the 26 measurement points of the frame and stator. By the FFT method, we know the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the motors. For the manufacture of the stator, the stator cores and spacers do not combine continually. It is very difficult to deal with natural frequencies of the motor when the stators are assembled. In this investigation we bring up seven different model types of the stator. Compare with the natural frequencies and mode shapes of the analysis and experiment result to discuss the possibility of the analysis models.
