網路服務技術在腦腫瘤醫療應用系統上的設計與建置

摘要


隨著醫學影像造影技術日臻成熟,使得醫學造影在治療成效評估、復發評估及併發症的鑑別診斷上扮演相當重要的角色。現今發展成熟之醫學影像技術有功能性磁共振影像(fMRI)與正子斷層影像(PET) 。兩者因造影原理之不同,所能獲得之生理生化訊息也有所不同。因此,林口長庚醫院放射部與台北榮總醫院核醫部欲彙整雙方於MRI與PET腦腫瘤影像之研究成果,以期能對腦腫瘤所造成的腦部變化有更深入的瞭解。 本論文的主要研究主題乃是應用網路服務(Web Services)系統整合架構,使腦腫瘤臨床診斷相關量測系統具備網路化的資訊處理能力,不僅能使MRI與PET腦腫瘤影像能藉由SOAP通信技術匯集至多媒體資料庫進行分析整合;同時,腦腫瘤臨床病例研究結果及統計分析資料,亦能以網路服務形式透過XML、WSDL、UDDI、SOAP技術提供臨床診斷之用。具體的研究成果包括(1)腦腫瘤多媒體影像資料庫系統建置,(2)以XML、SOAP技術建置腦腫瘤醫療影像交換系統,(3)以WSDL、UDDI技術建置腦腫瘤醫療影像服務查詢系統,(4)腦腫瘤影像診斷系統建置。本研究成果已應用於林口長庚醫院與台北榮總醫院的腦腫瘤影像之系統整合上,對於促進腦腫瘤影像之分級彙整與腦腫瘤臨床病歷之先導研究具有顯著的貢獻。

With the development of computer science, the database has been widely used in the brain tumor database, so the database could enrich the physician’s experience. We have known if the knowledge which was stored in the database could be obtained by making of this information designed for a diagnosis decision, it could improve the medical treatment quality support this system to help physician. This research propose the design and implementation of a multimedia medical network system by integrating the Web Services and multimedia database technologies on multi-modality functional images. The goal of this research is using Web Services technology to implement an Brain Tumor Image Exchange System that can have appropriate networking capability to integrate individual medical image systems and their services seamlessly. Four subsystems have been implemented in the proposed Brain Tumor Medical Image Exchange System as following, Multimedia Database Access System, Image Exchange Management System, Services Discovery System and Brain Tumor Diagnosis System. It is strongly believed that the results of this research have greatly helped physicians to make significant progress on brain tumor research.
