IC設計業屬智慧型產業,IC產品之產品生命週期通常較其他產品來的短,且面對各種資訊及通訊產品功能日新月異以及客戶對產品高品質及高效能之要求,唯有不斷推出新產品方能確保其競爭優勢,故需投入大量人力及研發經費,其研發能力為公司最大的競爭利基,由此可知IC設計產業屬於技術密集的高科技產業。 本研究採用個案研究法,將以2003年台灣IC設計產業年營收前五名公司為研究對象,因此以符合本研究條件及願意接受訪談之企業為優先選擇對象,本研究分別以聯發科、威盛、聯詠、瑞昱等四家台灣IC設計公司為研究對象進一步探討個案公司,不同技術知識特性、內外部技術網路和組織知識流通和新產品開發績效等五個變數是否有影響?經由次級資料和深度訪談與個案彙整後,並得出以下五個本研究結論相關命題: 1. 不同技術知識特性之不同程度,對其內部技術網路 團隊型態有差異 2. 不同技術知識特性之不同程度,對其外部技術網路來 源有差異 3. 內部技術網路團隊類型對於組織知識流通程度有差異 4. 不同的外部技術網路廣泛程度,對於組織知識流通程 度有差異 5. 組織知識流通程度高低,對於新產品開發績效優劣有 差異
The IC design industry belongs an intelligent industry, and a life cycle of IC product is relatively short for other products. To customers request for the high quality and efficiency about IC products , and company need to face the various information and communication products new function . This show, the companys want to hold the competition advantage that they need continuous to innovate and a large number to invest in the manpower and develop the products . Because the R&D ability is very important for the IC design company to hold the niche of competition, this shows the IC design industry belongs a highly concentrated technology industry. This paper uses case study and takes the Taiwan IC design industry TOP 5 for profit in 2003 year, due to resource limit ,this paper select the research objects which have including MediaTek、VIA、NovaTek、RealTek ,and further research the Impact among Characteristics of Technological Knowledge、Internal and External Networking、Knowledge Flows with New Product Develop Performance. Overall, we induced the results of this paper are as follows: 1. Different Characteristics of Technological Knowledge and degree differ in Internal project team. 2. Different Characteristics of Technological Knowledge and degree differ in External Network scope. 3. Adopt different project team modes differ in organized Knowledge Flows. 4. Different scope of External Network differ degree in organized Knowledge Flows. 5. Different level of Knowledge Flows differ in NPD Performance .
