PC薄膜熱壓製程特性之研究

摘要


中文摘要 隨著塑膠加工業技術的蓬勃發展,近年來有許多新的塑膠材料及製程被開發出來;為了增加產品的表面品質,減少後處理加工的成本及污染性,進而衍生模內貼合射出成型技術。在模內貼合射出成型中,熱壓製程是成品圖案品質、產品厚度分佈的主要關鍵技術。膠薄膜上圖案的拉伸變形會影響產品圖案尺寸要求及產品的外觀品質;塑膠薄膜的厚度分佈是關聯著厚度薄的部分會不會有透光的問題產生,以及之後在射出成型過程中會不會因為壁厚分佈不均而產生塑膠薄膜破裂或產品變形的問題。故本研究目的在於熱壓成型品幾何尺寸變形率以及厚度變化率及分佈等方面作一初步之研究。 研究中利用Bayer PC塑膠薄膜,採用0.125mm和0.2mm兩種不同的厚度,搭配模具溫度、塑膠薄膜預熱溫度、衝頭深度、衝頭速度、停留時間以及多段式熱壓等,製程參數探討熱壓成型品幾何尺寸變形率以及厚度變化率及分佈。熱壓成型過程中塑膠薄膜受溫度影響而有不同的彈性係數、抗拉強度;因此,實驗結果中顯示模具溫度影響塑膠薄膜幾何尺寸變形率較大。 根據本研究顯示在熱壓成型過程中,隨著產品深度的增加產品產生皺摺現象越嚴重;研究中利用多段式熱壓方式,有效的降低產品面的幾何尺寸變形率以及降低皺摺的產生。

Abstract In-mold decoration of injection molding technology is so interesting in Taiwan’s customer because IMD process can provide good surface quality when manufacturing 3C products and automotive plastic parts. The most difficulty in production is that the print on film may be deformable when thermoforming process before injection molding process. The presented study investigates: (1) The effects of thermoforming characteristics on print deformation (2) The influence of thermoforming characteristics on variation of film thickness. In this study two plastic films with thickness 0.125mm and 0.2mm are tested. The effect of process parameters such as mold temperature, pre-heating temperature, depth of the plug, plug velocity, plug stays time and multi-step thermoforming. The mold temperature was found to be the major influencing parameter. Experiment reveals that as the depth of the plug is increased, wrinkle of plastic film would appear. If the thermoforming process set up via multi-step, the plastic film wrinkle and geometric deformation ratio can be alleviated.
