Abstract In this thesis we propose a new Quality of Service (QoS) Routing Protocol to solve the problem of bandwidth utilization in Wireless Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET). It also can avoid many undesirable phenomena in traditional MANET Routing Protocol, such as hidden node problem and exposed node problem. In our proposal, we don’t need to confirm the transmission path between source node and destination node at first step. We just broadcast a simple packet to destination node in order to advise the transmission request. Then, we can find the suitable path from source node to destination node. Our Routing protocol is based on Time Division Multiple Access(TDMA) to do the best utilization on time and bandwidth, make data transmission efficient. We separate a fixed time periods into several parts, then more the separated parts of time is used to transmit or receive data. The contributions of our research are as follows: (1)We can easily get the parameters between source node and destination node to assist to find the optimum path. for optimum transmission. (2)By separating a period time into several parts, do transmission or to make the utilization of time and bandwidth more efficiently. (3)It also avoids the Hidden Node Problem and Exposed Node problem by using TDMA. It’s believe that our QoS Routing Protocol can discover the routing path more efficiently, and reduce the waste in bandwidth utilization.
