投影顯示器之光學引擎元件熱變形補償之研究

摘要


本研究主要在於分析討論熱應力及熱應變效應,對投影顯示器之光學引擎(Optical Engine)內部元件定位及投影精度之影響,同時並提出誤差補償方式,改良設計以提高投影顯示器之投影精度。 投影顯示器之投射原理,是由光源(Lamp)產生之投射光,進入光學引擎內部進行分光、合光、成像,最後經由鏡頭將影像投射至屏幕,燈泡作為光源的同時亦產生高熱,因此光學引擎系統乃處於高溫環境,光學引擎內部元件,如透鏡、反射鏡、透鏡定位機構等,因溫度變化將產生熱應力、應變效應,導致投射光投射偏差,影響投影品質。 本研究以Pro-Engineer軟體建立光學引擎系統之三維實體模型,以ANSYS有限元素分析軟體作為流場、熱應力,應變效應分析平台。利用流場分析獲得光學引擎元件的溫度分佈結果,並利用此溫度分佈結果作為熱變形分析之邊界條件,求得熱變形結果。研究方法如下: 1.建立光學引擎系統模型。 2.建立理想光路徑。 3.針對完整光學引擎系統(全光路,含元件夾持機構)進行熱流場、熱變形分析。 4.利用前項分析結果建立穩態(受熱後)光路徑。 5.計算各個元件定位誤差。 6.運用熱變形補償設計(Thermal Compensation)回饋並補償因熱變形產生之誤差。 7.計算各個元件定位誤差,確認誤差是否降低。 8.完成設計。 研究結果顯示,整體光路誤差改善率可達80%以上。

ABSTRACT In this paper,the effect of thermal stress and thermal deformation deteriorate the accuracy of projection and component alignment of a projector were analyzed,and method for structure design improvement with error compensation was also proposed. The working principle of projector is as following:a lamp works as a light source.The light of lamp enters into a optical engine that decomposes and merges light to produce a image. In the process,lamp generates heat which will cause thermal stress and deformation on the components of optical engine.This phenomenon seriously deteriorate the projection accuracy of a projector. This research uses finite element analysis software to analyze optical engine in high temperature environment. The study process is following: 1.Construction a 3D solid model of projector. 2.Define an exact light trace according to optical design. 3.Do thermal and thermal deformation analysis. 4.Analyze light trace which after heating. 5.Error calculation. 6.Do error compensation as a result of thermal deformation. 7.Estimate the compensation result. 8.Finish. After obtaining the thermal induced errors on components,the errors were compensated through design change of the components in the optical engine.This simulation result show that the accuracy of light trace was improved over 80%
