雜誌封面影像的視覺分析-以《壹週刊》為例

摘要


人類不斷創造「影像」來建構這個世界,卻也同時依賴「影像」建立自身的認同。只要有慾望存在的一天,影像就會在不斷被製造與消費的過程中反覆運行。身處在這樣的影像社會中,也許我們無法抑制或是抗拒它的發生,但卻有必要關注「影像」從形式到內涵、性質等,所衍生出的種種社會文化面貌。因此本研究將以視覺文化的觀點出發,藉《壹週刊》封面影像做為研究對象,探討影像與讀者之間的互動關係,藉此瞭解《壹週刊》慣用的影像語言及其發展脈絡為何?是否與讀者偏好有密切的關聯? 此外,又以讀者觀看的經驗出發,從他們與影像文本的互動過程中,解剖「影像」在台灣社會中建構了什麼樣的當代視覺文化環境。 本研究採質化研究的深度訪談的方法進行資料的蒐集,探討觀者與《壹週刊》雜誌封面影像的互動關係,研究目的如下:(一)探討《壹週刊》形成背景及在台灣的發展。(二)瞭解《壹週刊》慣用的視覺影像形式,以及觀者接受度。(三)探討讀者與影像的互動關係,以及他們如何建構影像中的訊息。(四)分析讀者對於封面影像的認知與價值概念。

People continue to create “images” to construct this world, yet continue to rely on “image” for self-identification. As long as desires exist, images would be produced and used in the consumption process. In this image-based society, we may not be able to inhibit or resist their occurrences, but should pay attention to the form, connotation, and characteristics of “images”, and the social and cultural aspects derived Therefore, this study focused on the perspective of visual culture, and selected the cover images of Next Magazine as the subjects to discuss the interaction between the images and readers, thus, to understand the image language used by Next Magazine and the development, the relationship with the preference of the readers. Also, from the reading experience of the readers, this study probed into to the contemporary visual and cultural environment that “images” have constructed from the interaction with the publications. This study adopted qualitative study and in-depth interview to conduct data collection, and discussed the interaction between the cover images of Next Magazine and readers. The objectives of this study include the followings: 1) to discuss the background of Next Magazine and its development in Taiwan; 2) to understand the visual image style commonly adopted by Next Magazine and the readers’ acceptance; 3) to discuss the interaction between the cover images of Next Magazine and readers, and how the images constructed the messages; 4) to analyze the recognition and value concepts of the readers toward the cover images.
