The aim of the study concerns with the linear stability analysis of three dimensional space frames. A finite element computation procedure has been set up for the stability analysis of such kind structures. According the result of the linear stability analysis and the nonlinear deflection analysis are compared with the result of references. Linear buckling load behavior of such kind structures are examined in the study. The updated Lagrangian formulation has been employed for developing the elastic and geometric stiffness matrices of a three dimensional beam element. The method presented in the study can be used for any kind of three dimensional space frames for searching critical loads and corresponding buckling modes.
