改良式分集階層樹結合非對等錯誤保護技術於部分頻帶雜訊干擾傳輸影像之研究

摘要


在本論文中,我們提出一種新壓縮格式結合非對等保護 (Unequal Error Protection,UEP) 技術以對抗部分頻帶干擾有效傳遞影像的方法。為了有效對抗部份頻帶雜訊干擾(Partial Band Noise Jamming, PBNJ),我們使用跳頻展頻系統(Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum,FH-SS)傳輸影像。跳頻展頻系統是一種應用於對抗干擾很有效率的技術,而禮德-索羅門(Reed-Solomom,RS)碼結合跳頻系統的應用近幾年也已被廣泛的研究,然而先前研究多著墨於錯誤率分析,多半未對特定資料格式做處理。因此我們使用此系統傳輸影像,並發展出一種新式影像壓縮格式配合非對等保護技術來提升傳輸品質。為了有效利用傳輸資料特性,我們並且使用了一種基於小波影像的多樣性選擇法配合快跳頻系統產生的多樣性,以此多樣性選擇法傳輸本系統壓縮資料相對於一般多樣性平均法將能進一步有效提升影像品質。實驗結果顯示本系統所使用之改良式影像壓縮格式擁有更加的影像壓縮品質,且不論在何種多樣性結合法則下,本系統所改良之影像壓縮格式配合非對等錯誤保護技術進行傳輸時都更能有效維持影像傳輸品質。

In this paper, we consider a wavelet domain diversity combining method for image transmission under partial band noise jamming (PBNJ). We propose a new image compression algorithm called modified-SPIHT (MSPIHT). Compared to the set partitioning in hierarchical trees algorithm (SPIHT), the MSPIHT is more appropriate for unequal error protection technique (UEP). Besides, our system considers a diversity combining to improve the received image quality for fast frequency-hopping (FFH) system to resist the jamming. Simulation result shows our MSPIHT algorithm not only has better compression reconstruction image quality, but also has better performance better than that use standard SPIHT algorithm with or without selective diversity combining method.
