This research was a story about “Let go”. It focused on the main and important issues of one’s life to explore how psychodramas can affect the relationship between one and others in the real life by the self-narrative approach. The narration of the research emphasized on conversations and reflections, and there were seven stages, including: restructuring the stories by three stages, “attending to experience”, “telling about experience”, and “transcribing experience”; the others of the stories were introduced in the stage of “action conversation” to make the self told stories more subjective; according the viewpoints and responses of the others of the stories, the stage of “analyzing experience” began. This stage was to help the story tellers to reflect the psychological courses of their lives and the societies and cultures they are living in; at the stage of “reading experience”, the self narrative experiences were no more the self narrative, instead they showed the new respects about one’s self, society and culture; finally, the new knowledge of psychodramas were abstracted by the stories from one’s experiences at the stage of “knowledge-creation”. In the process of exploring, I realized the meaning of exploring is not finding the rights and wrongs, instead looking inward one’s self, understanding the inner thoughts of others and the background where we are living in is more important. From the others’ responds in the stories, I saw the love of parents for children. It helped me to re-orientate the love and importance of my own parents. From the story, it showed that the relationship between one and others was affected by cultures. And I had an opportunity to reflect the relationship between one and others of my own from other’s angle by the role exchange in psychodramas. My angles of viewing things were changed, and the experiences of psychodramas were transferred to my real life, it helped to improve the relationship of my own, and realize that the “kinship” in I-ching stands for the true value of the family in Chinese culture. From the process of self narration and reflection in this research, three viewpoints were concluded and suggested: returning to the traditional writing approach, keeping finding and talking to others in the narrative process, letting others speak for themselves. Key words:psychodrama, self-narrative, story of life.
