論文摘要 TFT-LCD 面板產業,直接材料成本佔總成本約60%~70%的比例,對積極控管成本的台灣面板廠商而言,如何透過供應鏈策略以降低成本並穩定供應,實為重要課題。面板廠商必須考量現有的資源能耐、未來獨特能力的培養,內外成本結構的比較與機會成本的高低,進而對供應鏈上每一個價值活動,進行整合或裁併的策略,建構出供應鏈垂直整合之疆界。 本研究採用個案研究法,以台灣TFT-LCD產業中,四大面板廠商(友達、奇美、華映、彩晶)與其上游五大零組件供應鏈產業(玻璃基板、彩色濾光片、背光模組、偏光板、驅動IC)為研究對象,針對其間的垂直整合關係及其發展程度,進行研究探討。經由文獻的歸納和個案發現的推演後,得到的研究結論如下: 1.交易成本觀點「環境複雜性、資產專屬性」,影響面板廠商與供應鏈廠商,對於垂直整合的動機強弱。 2.資源基礎觀點之廠商資源能耐,影響廠商供應鏈垂直整合的能力。 3.資源基礎觀點之供應商的資源能耐(壟斷程度、資金障礙、技術障礙),影響面板廠商供應鏈的垂直整合能力。 4.廠商資源稟賦稀釋產業同形的力量,導致不同廠商在相同的供應鏈垂上,有不同的垂直整合程度。
Abstract In TFT-LCD panel industry , the direct materials account about 60% to 70% of the total cost proportion. As positive control costs of Taiwan panel makers, how to reduce cost and keep steady supply source through supply chain strategy , in fact, an important issue.Panel manufacturers must consider the existing resource capability to the next level of the unique ability of the culture, internal and external cost structures compared with the level of opportunity cost, thus the value of each activity in the supply chain, conduct integration or cut down and merge strategy to construct the boundaries of the vertical integration of supply chain. In this study, the case study method.Taiwan TFT-LCD industry, the four panel makers (AUO, CMO, CPT, HannStar) and its upstream five components supply chain industry (glass substrates, color filters, backlight, polarizers, driver IC) is the object of study.For vertical integration between its level of development during the study.Through the literature of induction and the case found that the deduction after the conclusions of the study are as follows: 1. Transaction costs perspective "environmental complexity, asset specificity", affect the panel manufacturers and supply chain vendors, for the strength of the motive of vertical integration. 2. The resource capability of the firm of the resource-based view , affect the ability of manufacturers supply chain vertical integration. 3. The resource capability of the supplier of the resource-based view (degree of monopoly, financial barriers, technical barriers) affect the supply chain vertical integration capabilities of panel makers. 4. The firm of resource endowments dilution the force of industrial isomorphism , lead to different firms have different degree of vertical integration on the same supply chain .
