Recent advances in nanotechnology have produced a new fluorescent calibration structure, use of gold synthesis of fluorescent gold clusters. These nanoclusters with special physical and chemical behavior, because its composition of a few to a hundred atoms, their sizes are comparable to the Fermi wavelength. In particular, the emission wavelength of gold nanoclusters can be tuned by changing the ligands of the gold nanoclusters. Fluorescent gold nanoclusters have good biocompatibility, excellent photostability and ultrasmall size, making them to have great application. The purpose of this study is develop two different etching effect preparation of new aqueous phase fluorescent gold nanoclusters: using the template-based synthesis(Polyethylenimine)with blue fluorescent;and monolayer-protected nanoclusters synthesis (Bis(p-sulfonatophenyl) phenylphosphine dihydrate dipotassium salt) with green fluorescent. Summarize synthesis strategies of the new fluorescent gold nanoclusters are no external reducing agent, one-pot synthesis, the product is stable in aqueous environment and excellent optical properties, and finally discuss current challenges for potential sensor applications.
