摘要


在本論文中,為了改進被廣泛採用的動作向量估測演算法,我們提出了一個新的錯誤隱藏演算法;這個演算法利用到前一張畫面區塊的分割訊息。我們將演算法同時實現在H.264/AVC與HEVC上。結果顯示,從主觀及客觀上來看,我們所提出的方法可以有更好的表現。相對於H.264/AVC在做動作估測時只採用了16x16、16x8、8x16、8x8、8x4、4x8及4x4等7種可變區塊大小模式,HEVC則是有24種可變區塊大小模式。因此我們所提出的方法在HEVC中的改進要比AVC來的大。

In this paper, we propose an error concealment algorithm that considers the partition decision information from previous frame, to improve a widely used algorithm that extrapolates the motion vectors from previous frame. We implement the algorithm on H.264/AVC and HEVC. The result shows that objectively and subjectively, the proposed method can perform better. Relative to H.264/AVC motion estimation is done using a 16x16, 16x8, 8x16, 8x8, 8x4, 4x8 and 4x4 seven kinds of variable block size mode, and there are 24 kinds of variable block size mode in HEVC. Also, the improvement of our method is larger in HEVC video than in AVC video.
