本論文主要目的是研究LCD液晶面板內冷陰極管(CCFL)與驅動電路(Inverter)之間的相關動態特性及造成CCFL損壞過程原因之探討與診斷。依據CCFL和LCD顯示器內部光源裝置,提出物理性和數學模式作為電路分析分析。進而提出相關特性探討的實驗方法,進行CCFL與驅動電路所衍生的相關驅動狀況的實驗與分析。最後利用實驗結果針對LCD顯示器內CCFL之燈管電流、燈管溫度、洩漏電流的檢測,以及液晶顯示器螢幕輝度所量測之相關數據進行分析與比較,以探討CCFL的受驅動特性及其損壞過程原因進行研析與診斷,提出LCD顯示器內CCFL的特性診斷策略。
This thesis aims to study the dynamic characteristics between the cold-cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) and the driver of a liquid-crystal-display (LCD) monitor, and to investigate and diagnose the cause of CCFL damage behavior. According to the installation of LCD monitor with CCFL, physical and mathematical models for electrical circuit analysis are presented. Furthermore, an experiment for investigating the characteristics of CCFL and driver was conducted. Finally, the lamp current, lamp temperature, luminance from LCD display and the leakage current of CCFL related to the driver characteristics are all investigated by way of experiment and comparison, which then builds the diagnosis strategy of the CCFL characteristics in LCD monitor.
