傳統的電視節目系統是採用NTSC(National Television System Committee)的架構。隨著數位電視時代的來臨,傳統類比NTSC視頻訊號電視系統之數位化是必須的,進而取代以數位 DVB-T 播放方式,不但畫質會提升不少,也因檔案壓縮比更高,可加入更多頻道。目前類比訊號與數位訊號屬於交替的時代,有線電視系統仍共存著數位與類比的電視訊號頻道,台灣有線電視為亞太地區密度最高的地方,這過渡時期主要是考量到廣大的收視戶,讓傳統電視不致於收不到「無線數位」信號而喪失功能,各國政府估算與訂定期限讓電視機自然的汰舊換新到使用「無線數位」階段。當然所需要的配備就要更高,因為更高的畫質就需要耗費更多的系統效能來做解碼 (decode) 的動作,本研究主要是讓電視產品能同步接收數位與類比兩系統的訊號,將數位或類比系統雙功能整合於同一模組中,滿足業界及消費端的需求,更大大降低產品成本(PCB,機構,電路,電子零件)。
Traditional TV program systems are almost in NTSC (National Television System Committee) format. With the advent of digital television, it is necessary for television systems to transform from traditional analog NTSC video signals into digital counterparts. It is because the digital DVB-T system not only give good quality with high resolution, but it can also provide more television channels due to an advanced compression technique for digital video signals. On the other hand, it is important for a cable television company to have a new technique to accommodate both digital and analog video signals, especially for Taiwan cable business that possesses the highest density of the cable television in Asia. In this technical report, to reduce the hardware complexity, we integrate digital and analog signals in one module for television sets to receive both kinds of signals at the same time to satisfy industry and customers’ needs, and reduce the cost of the product(PCB, organization,circuit electronic items).
