液態光學膠貼合機設計與應用

摘要


本研究是以觸控模組之保護玻璃及觸控感測器貼合過程中最重要之塗膠與貼合兩大功能為主題,探討自動化貼合設備在液態光學膠塗佈的最佳圖形以及保護玻璃與觸控感測器貼合時兩者間的對位調整與間距控制之機構設計與開發。此設備之設計與開發,內容包括功能概念設計、機構配置、傳動機構設計、視覺對位系統設計、伺服控制器之軟硬體應用等。最後將完成的設備原型機進行塗膠及貼合測試並驗證其功能。 經實際測試驗證結果可知,環境溫度對於點膠機之出膠量影響甚大,點膠針的出膠處搭配恆溫系統,可以有效穩定的控制出膠的膠量,而面膠塗佈的圖形不可相互交錯,框膠塗佈時需配合面膠的圖形配置排氣道,以降低玻璃貼合時產生殘留氣泡。若能有效控制以上製程參數,則能大幅提升貼合的產能與良率。本文之研究內容將有助於未來開發高速貼合技術及相關設備,以期自動化貼合設備能夠發揮更高之生產效能。

Touchscreen panel is combined with display panel and input device as 2-in-1 application becomes the high-end fashionable electronic products. Resin dispensing and laminating processes are the two main functions concerned for designing automation equipment. Optimistic pattern layout of optical resin, alignment calibration, as well as air gap controls between the cover glass and the touchscreen are investigated in this thesis. Design of the equipment includes functional concept, mechanism layout, transmission mechanism, visual alignment and programmable firmware of servo controller. A prototype equipment is built to carry out resin dispensing and laminating testing and performance verification finally. Via the practical testing with enough experimental results, it is found that the ambient temperature is quite influential to the dispensing viscosity of the fluid dispenser. Dispensing needle syringe needs to be applied with thermostatic system. The add-in temperature control is able to effectively stabilize the dispensing glue amount. The adhesive coated surface is not allowed to be made with randomly interleave pattern. In order to line up the dispensing coated edge with the adhesive surface pattern, the dispense work needs to lay out the degassing channel in order to avoid from the retained air bubbles between the laminating glass substrate and touch sensor. In case of effective control on the above process parameters, improving productivity and yielding rate of the laminating process is achieved. The developing technique in this article is instrumental to design an automatic equipment of high-speed laminating process that can enhance the production efficiency.
