小組合作教學對國中學生數學學習成就影響之研究

A Study of the Effects of Small-Group Cooperative Learning on Mathematics Achievement of Junior High School Students

摘要


本研究的目的在探討小組合作教學對國中學生數學學習成就的影響。採準實驗研究設計,以中壢市某國中七年級四個班級為研究對象,實驗組(70人)實施小組合作教學,控制組(70人)實施一般教學,探討小組合作教學對學生數學學習成就的影響。 本研究以「數學學習成就測驗」及「數學段考考卷」為主要的量化工具,評量學生的數學學習情形。研究焦點集中於翰林版數學領域國中七年級「一元一次方程式」及「二元一次聯立方程式」兩個單元,於教學後,對學生實施測驗,比較兩組學生的得分情形。 研究結果顯示: (1)實驗組的學生在數學學習成就測驗的成績,比控制組的學生表現較好,且有顯著的差異;但在數學段考成績的得分上,兩組的學生並沒有顯著的差異。 (2)在低數學能力的學生中,實驗組學生的數學學習成就測驗成績,比控制組的學生表現較好,且有顯著的差異;但在高、中數學能力的學生中,兩組學生的成績並沒有顯著的差異。 (3)實驗組女學生的數學學習成就測驗成績,比控制組的女學生表現較好,且有顯著的差異;但兩組男學生的成績並沒有顯著的差異。

The purpose of this study was to explore how small-group cooperative learning affects junior high school students’ mathematics achievement. Quasi- experimental design was used in this study, and four seventh grade classes of the junior high school in Jung-Li are the subjects of the study. In this study, students were divided into the experimental group with 70 students which were taught by small-group cooperative learning instruction; the other group would be the control group with 70 students taught by ordinary instruction. To explore how small-group cooperative learning affects junior high school students’ mathematics achievement. Two quantitative tools “Mathematics Achievement Test(MAT)” and “Mathematics Exam Test(MET)” had been used in the study. These tools enabled us to evaluate students’ mathematics achievement. The study focuses on the following two units, “One-Variable Linear Equations” and “Two-Dimensional Linear Systems of Equations” on the textbooks. After the instruction, students took the test to see what the different between two groups. The results show that: (1)There exists a significant difference between the average scores of MAT for experimental group and control group. But there’s no significant difference between the average scores of MET for experimental group and control group. (2)There exists a significant difference between the average scores of MAT for lower mathematics ability students of experimental group and control group. But there’s no significant difference between the average scores of MAT for high and mid mathematics ability students of experimental group and control group. (3)There exists a significant difference between the average scores of MAT for female students of experimental group and control group. But there’s no significant difference between the average scores of MAT for male students of experimental group and control group.
