透由實體層網路編碼改善單向傳輸吞吐率的進一步研究

摘要


實體層網路編碼 (Physical-layer Network Coding, PNC) 技術可以用在無線網路傳輸上,以得到更高的傳輸吞吐率。在論文[6]中,Maeouf 等人將實體層網路編碼應用在無線單向傳輸上,針對傳輸的改善狀況做了詳細的分析和模擬。本論文則針對其研究,提出進一步的想法,依據不同的傳輸狀況,將網路編碼做可適性的調整,減低所需之重傳次數,以進一步提升網路傳輸的吞吐率,同時也探討封包長度以及解碼參數簡化對於吞吐率改善的影響。

The Physical-layer Network Coding (PNC) can be used in the wireless transmission to improve the transmission throughput. In the paper [6], Maeouf, et al gives a detailed analysis and simulation for unidirectional wireless transmission with PNC. In this paper, we propose an adaptive PNC method based on their research. The proposed scheme can further improve the transmission throughput by reducing the total retransmission times. In addition, we also discuss the effect of packet length and simplified decoding parameters.
