摘要
本文主要研究在華人教會界頗具份量，以及對台灣社會也頗具影響力的華人神學家周聯華(1920-)，研究聚焦在他對基督論的觀點與論述。 本文梳理周聯華如何向華人世界論述基督論，他的依據是以聖經做為主要的立論，基督論既是論述有關基督的位格和工作，更重要的也是說明基督就是那位「神」。 周聯華對於基督論似乎過於強調基督道德的美善，強調耶穌的愛與良善，是我們完美的典範，也是我們跟隨的目標。但耶穌他真正成就的工作是什麼呢？筆者認為耶穌主要是為了拯救他的百姓來到世上，但周似乎未在其著作中強調耶穌一定要來到世上的原因，以及非耶穌不得拯救的原因，筆者認為周在神學救恩的絕對性上缺乏明顯的主張。 本文企圖解析宗教與福音的不同。周聯華以一種隱晦不明的方式提出「是否除了耶穌以外沒有得救的路」的問題，在與其他宗教領袖對話時，從未對此提供明確肯定的答案，這是否是一種恰當的表述呢？針對所謂宗教都是「好」的，宗教都是勸人為「善」的泛泛之論，周聯華似乎沒有明確地評價這類言論。 本文以華人重要的神學家周聯華為個案研究，探討他如何以本色化的方式論述基督論，周聯華強調「此時此地」的「本地化神學」帶領國人信主，他認為華人喜於談論道德、美善，道德化的信仰就是福音最好的切入點，也成為他以道德為前提所呈現的基督論。最後，本文評價周聯華的基督論對於基督徒傳福音是否是最好的門徑，藉此論其功過。

This thesis mainly focuses on the theologian, Lien-Hua Chow(1920-), who has a great influence in Taiwanese society and is also prestigious in Asian churches. The study will specifically explore his perspective and description of Christology. The description of Christology made by Chow to Asians is founded on Bible. Christology is depicting Christ’s status and work, and moreover, the identity of God. Chow seems to overly emphasize the goodness and kindness of Christ and convince everyone that he is just the paragon for human beings. But what did he really achieve? He came to Earth for his people. This truth is not emphasized in Chow’s work and therefore Chow’s theory is lack of the perspective of regarding Christ as a savior. In the thesis, the difference between religion and gospel is analyzed. Chow’s theory about “whether there’s no way to be saved except Jesus” is too ambiguous and when talking to other theologians, no specific answer is rendered. Is it appropriate? Chow’s position seems to be not specific enough toward whether religions are all good and the purpose of them is to guide people to kindness. This thesis takes the important theologian, Lian-Hua Chow as a case study and explores how he enunciates Christology. He emphasizes local theology “here and now” to lead Asians to God. He believed by talking about ethics, kindness and morals, people are more easily convinced. And this allows ethics become the premise of Christology. Finally, by evaluating appropriateness of Chow’s Christology in preaching hence his contribution.
