結晶性高分子/黏土奈米複材之製程開發與性質研究

摘要


本研究主要對結晶性高分子(Nylon6與PET)於添加黏土後之製程開發與性質研究,將己內醯胺、對苯二甲酸二乙二醇酯與黏土利用原位聚合法製成脫層型(Exfoliation)的尼龍六/黏土奈米複合材料(Nylon6/Clay Nanocomposites)與聚對苯二甲酸二乙酯/黏土奈米複合材料(PET/Clay Nanocomposites)。相較於以往之高分子/黏土奈米複材,如市面所售之PK-802與SCP Cloisite-30B其陽離子交換當量(Cation Exchange Capacity,CEC)大約在100meq/100g of clay左右,本實驗所選用之新型黏土,如CL-88、CL-114、CL-120其陽離子交換當量高達200~300meq/100g of clay,甚至300meq/100g of clay以上,並且其所製備之奈米複材仍能達到奈米微分散脫層的效果。本研究以X-ray繞射儀(XRD)與穿透式電子顯微鏡(TEM)來觀察黏土在高分子中的分散情形;熱重分析儀(TGA)與動態機械分析儀(DMA)探討熱性質與機械性質;氣體穿透分析儀(GPA)來探討氣體(氧氣、氮氣與二氧化碳)在高分子材料中之穿透程度。因此本研究以探討不同黏土其陽離子交換當量與含量的不同之分散程度、機械性質、熱性質及阻絕特性。

In this study, we focus on the process and characterization of crystalline polymer nanocomposites with various clay minerals. Nylon6/Clay and PET/Clay nanocomposites with various clay minerals were prepared by in situ polymerization method. We have compared with the polymer/clay nanocomposites prepared from commercially available clay such as PK-802 (CL-42) and SCP Cloisite-30B (CL-112) with CEC about 100 meq/100 g of clay. This study applies new type of clay (CL-88, CL-114, CL-120), which has high CEC about 200~300 meq/100 g of clay, even higher than 300 meq/100 g of caly. Though, the cation exchange capacity (CEC) of new type of clay is high, but it forms well-exfoliated morphology. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques were employed to access the morphology developed in each type of nanocomposites. The thermo-mechanical properties of the nanocomposites were examined by using a thermal gravimetric analyzers (TGA), a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), while gas permeability analyzer (GPA) of carbon dioxide and air were used to evaluate gas permeability property. It has been observed that the thermo-mechanical and gas permeability properties are improved due to well dispersion of clay in the polymer matrices.
