As to most department of lnformation and computer engineering of school,the program design course is one of most important curriculum.This subjest is not only the fundation that students program design,but also course of learning.Among instruction the course,is not only it teach students understand the progr-amming language constructs ,data structures,and how about to use,but also that was wanted more important to teach learners how to use the programming skil-ls and ability already learn to solve the problems,even find out the best solveanswer. The most difficult teaching program design is how to let learners to developed the concept of designing program,the procedure when the procedure carries out and movement of instruction.Guzdial(2003) proposes novice programmers unable to think or imagine computer how to carry out movement and actual operation procedure to go according to order of procedure,because this is very abstract and difficultly to understand. A lot of have applied to program design the teaching method,for example,Cooperative Learning,Visual Programming Interfaces,Project-Based Learning.In th-is thesis,we try to develop a methodology that improve the learning effects ofprogram design.We applied visual considerations on ATDE-Styled Teaching and teaching C language.This educational experimentd were made consercutively dur-ing the fall semester of 2006,55 students in the experiment.The constrasted with group of 60 students.The result of the experimentd was unsatisfactory,we unable to prove the new teaching method can really improvement the learning effects of program design.
