摘要

現代人未婚或未生育的比例逐年增加，在醫療技術水準進步的結果下，整體人口的高齡化及專供高齡者的住宅設計已是無法抵擋的趨勢，其相對應的無障礙、可適性及終身住宅的設計概念成為21 世紀的主流。對高齡者而言，可以在一般住宅中居住並在自己習慣的環境中享受老後生活，不但是目前世界潮流，尤其是國內多數人認為最理想的居住方式。
本文探討住宅無障礙浴廁使用環境之需求及用後適應性，瞭解高齡者在其居家浴廁無障礙空間中的使用需求，探求其身心條件對應空間上所產生之困擾，提出改善之建議，藉由設備相關軟體服務，提高讓高齡者有更全面性的照顧，本研究期望大家更重視居住高齡者及行動不便者環境的安全性與便利性，讓新建或藉由適當改善既有的住宅都能達到符合高齡者使用之居住需求，成為每個人可終生使用「舒適的家」。

The yearly growth of unmarried and nulliparity under advanced medical treatment impelling the irresistible aging population and the need of interior design for the elderly.Correspondingly, the concept of design in barrier- free, adaptability and lifetime home turns into mainstream in twenty first century.From the point of elderly, living in the familiar house environment and enjoying the life are not only worldwide trend currently, but also the most ideal residential way.
Here,we probe the environment inquiries of barrier free bathroom for the elderly the assessment of accessibility is trying to figure out the scale for the elderly and proposing the way to improve.Especially, by enhancing the facilities of software to reach a more comprehensive life at home，except the hardware facilities.This research expects to draw more attention on the safety and convenience designed for the elderly and disabled.And, the new buildings or remodeling houses can meet the residential inquiries for the elderly to be a cozy home
