在雲端運算環境下建構普及學習系統

摘要


隨著Web 2.0的時代來臨,雲端運算這個名詞成為近年來熱門的討論議題,網路與雲端服務的發展,帶來人與人更多資訊分享與互動。若應用於教育及學習上,可以提供不同於過往的學習方式,以彌補過去傳統學習管理系統的不足。藉由建構在雲端運算環境中的普及學習系統,可以滿足學習者多化元的學習需求,提供更多學習的互動、協助與分享知識的機制,讓更多的學習者能夠參與其中,讓普及學習的概念能充分發揮。 現今的普及學習系統,常面臨到資源無法有效分配與硬體擴充性不足等限制因素,因此無法有效提升學習系統效能,而近年來雲端運算的流行,不管是透過公有雲或是自行建構的私有雲,可以透過雲端運算概念中的架構即服務為普及學習系統帶來全新的思維。本研究主要是建構在雲端運算架構下的普及學習系統,藉由雲端運算對資源的擴展性和彈性分配的特性,打造一個無時空環境限制的學習環境,以達到無學習阻礙的理想境界。

With the coming of the Web 2.0 era, cloud computing has become a very hot topic in the recent years. The development of the internet and cloud services has led to more and more information sharing and interaction between people. If cloud computing can be applied to education and learning, brand new learning methods can be developed to make up for the insufficiency of traditional learning management systems. A pervasive learning system constructed in a cloud computing environment may satisfy learners’ diversified learning needs, providing more learning interactions, assistance, and a mechanism to share knowledge, so that more learners can participate and the concept of pervasive learning can be carried out. Nowadays, there are often limitations on most common learning systems, for example, resources can not be efficiently allocated and hardware is not scalable enough. Therefore, it is impossible to efficiently improve performance of learning systems. In the recent years, cloud computing has become popular. Brand new ideas can be brought to pervasive learning system through one of the cloud computing concepts, infrastructure as a service, with both public and private clouds. This study focuses on constructing a pervasive learning system under the structure of cloud computing, with the features of cloud computing, including scalability and flexibility, to create a learning environment without limitations on time and space, to achieve the ideal of barrier-free learning.
