桃園縣國中學生心目中好的數學教師人格特質及教學行為之研究

A Study of Junior High School Students’ Perspective of a Good Mathematic Teacher’s Personality Traits and Teaching Behavior in Taoyuan County

摘要


摘要 本研究主要在探討國中學生知覺好的數學教師人格特質及教學行為,以及對好的數學教師人格特質及教學行為之認同程度,是否因學生的性別、年級、自覺學業表現及學習態度不同而有所差異。本研究採用自編的「國中學生對好的數學教師人格特質及教學行為認同程度問卷」為調查工具,其中探討的教師教學行為分為「教學技巧」、「教學態度」、「學科知識」與「作業評量與回饋」等四個類別,並以桃園縣公立國中學生為母群體,抽樣11所公立國中學生730人為研究對象。 本研究獲致的研究結果如下: 一、 國中學生對本研究在研究工具所列舉的好的數學教師人格特質及教學行為皆有正向的認同程度。 二、 男、女國中學生對好的數學教師人格特質及教學行為的認同程度相同。 三、 七年級學生對好的數學教師人格特質與教學行為的認同程度較八及九年級學生高。 四、 自覺學業表現較佳的國中學生對好的數學教師「學科知識」類別較認同,但自覺學業表現欠佳的國中學生對好的數學教師在「作業評量與回饋」類別較認同。 五、 正向學習態度國中學生較認同數學教師在「教學技巧」、「教學態度」及「學科知識」上的教學行為,但負向學習態度學生較認同數學教師在「作業評量與回饋」類別上之教學行為。

Abstract The purpose of this study is to discuss whether junior high school students’ perspective and level of identification of a good mathematic teacher’s personality traits and teaching behavior vary with students’ gender, grade, self-perception of academic performance and attitude of learning. This research employs a questionnaire survey method. Good mathematic teacher’s teaching behavior in the questionnaire was divided into four categories: teaching skills, teaching attitudes, subject knowledge, and feedback and assessment of assignment. The population were the students in public junior high schools in Taoyuan county. 730 students within eleven schools were selected by stratified random sampling. The results of this research are as follows: 1. Junior high school students’ perspective of a good mathematic teacher’s personality traits and teaching behavior indicates to be positive level of recognition. 2. Different genders students possess the same level of recognition in a good mathematic teacher’s personality traits and teaching behavior. 3. Seventh graders possess higher level of recognition in a teacher’s personality traits and teaching behavior than eighth and ninth graders. 4. The students with higher self-perception of academic performance possess higher level of recognition in “subject knowledge”. The students with lower self-perception of academic performance possess higher level of recognition in “feedback and assessment of assignment”. 5. The students with positive learning attitudes possess higher level of recognition in mathematic teacher’s “teaching skills”, “teaching attitudes” and “subject knowledge”. But the students with negative learning attitudes possess higher level of recognition in “feedback and assessment of assignment”.
