製備含氮官能基之螯合樹脂及其在銅離子吸附應用

摘要


本研究利用無乳化劑乳化聚合反應製備聚氯甲基苯乙烯(Poly(vinylbenzyl chloride), PVBC)顆粒做為後續反應的反應物。利用2-(胺甲基)吡啶取代PVBC顆粒表面的氯官能基,合成含氮螯合樹脂顆粒,探討改變2-(胺甲基)吡啶的添加量及進行取代反應時間長短對於取代量之影響。 由實驗結果得知,聚氯甲基苯乙烯顆粒粒徑隨親水性共單體增加而減小。固定反應時間及溫度下,當2-(胺甲基)吡啶添加量增加,PVBC顆粒表面氯官能基被2-(胺甲基)吡啶的取代量會隨之增加。固定2-(胺甲基)吡啶添加量時,PVBC顆粒表面氯官能基的被2-(胺甲基)吡啶之取代量會隨著反應時間的增加而增加。 另一方面,利用原子轉移自由基聚合法將苯乙烯(Styrene, St)接枝於PVBC顆粒表面上,改變接枝時間製備出不同梳狀長度的PVBC-g-PS顆粒,再利用2-(胺甲基)吡啶取代PVBC-g-PS顆粒末端的氯官能基,探討不同長度梳狀高分子對於取代量的影響。由實驗結果得知,當接枝時間增加時,PVBC-g-PS/APy顆粒對銅離子的吸附量會隨著PVBC表面接枝的PS長度增加而增加,但當接枝長度較長時,PVBC-g-PS/APy顆粒對銅離子的吸附量頓時下降。在再生測試中,顆粒經過五次吸脫附程序後,對銅離子仍有不錯的吸附能力。

In this study, poly(vinylbenzyl chloride)(PVBC) particles were prepared by emulsifier-free emulsion polymerization as a starting reactant for the subsequent reaction. The chelate group containing nitrogen was connected with chlorine in PVBC’s surface by nuclear substitution reaction. The effect of adsorption was investigated by various polymer particles prepared by different amount of different amount of 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine or different reaction time. The adsorption quality to copper(Ⅱ) ion of the chelating resin were be studied. As the amount of hydrophilic comonomer (NaSS) increases, the size of PVBC particle also increased. The copper(Ⅱ) ion adsorption were increased as the increase of 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine amount and reaction time. On the other hand, the PVBC particles were grafted with polystyrene via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). The PVBC-g-PS particles with different brush length under different grafted time were obtained. Then, chlorine group were also replaced to 2-(aminomethyl)pyridine by nuclear substitution reaction. From the experimental results, the amount of copper(Ⅱ) ion adsorption increased as the length of styrene grafting increased. But the copper(Ⅱ) ion adsorption was decreased, when the length of styrene was longer. Regeneration was tested for several cycles, then the amount of adsorption had not changed much.
