伊利亞德(Mircea Eliade)曾經以比較宗教學神聖二元論觀念探討人類生活環境中的神聖空間,而在具有戰地面貌的金門,在特殊地域環境影響下,其實具有許多神聖空間符號,並由它們來支配聚落的日常與宗教生活。本研究根據學者伊利亞德(Mircea Eliade)觀點進行探討分析,國人對空間的神聖性乃是利用象徵性符號作為媒介以及風水觀念來建構自身居住環境,這與西方神聖觀有些許差異。如金門以風獅爺分佈及各姓氏宗祠在民居間扮演重要角色,又以金門瓊林迄今仍保留相當完整的建築形式與祭典儀式傳統為最,故本研究希望從其地理環境、聚落與建築空間關係以及儀式來探討神聖空間與居民之連結關係。本研究希望以瓊林聚落中神聖空間所包含的神聖空間符號以及宗教儀式來彰顯金門聚落祭典儀式來探討金門聚落建築中所隱涵的文化資產價值與意義。
Mircea Eliade probed into the sacred space in the living environment of humans by comparing the sacred dualism of the science of religion. However, there are many symbols of the sacred space in Kinmen featuring battlefields under the influence of special territorial environment. The daily and religious life of the settlement is dominated by these symbols. This research conducts the analysis and discussion on the basis of the views of Scholar Mircea Eliade. As for the sanctity of space, the fellow countrymen construct their dwelling environment with symbolic signs used as media and ideas of geomantic omen, which is a little different from westerners’ view on sanctity. For example, in Kinmen, the distribution of Wind Lion Gods and the important role ancestral halls of family names are playing among folk houses as well as the comparatively complete architectural forms and fiesta ceremonies Chyonglin still retains are the most important ones. Therefore, this research hopes to discuss the relation of the connection between the sacred space and residents based on the relationship between the geographic environment, the settlement and building space, and ceremonies.This research is expected to discuss the cultural heritage value and significance hidden in the architecture of settlement in Kinmen based on symbols and religious rites which are included in the sacred space in Chyonglin Settlement to highlight fiesta ceremonies of Chyonglin Settlement.
