可靠度設計程序與設計階段的系統可靠度預測-以伺服器主機板及有線通信網路為研究案例

摘要


電子產業在台灣經歷自1980 年代起的蓬勃發展時代,但環顧今日的國際競爭情勢,此產業要能在台灣繼續成長,除了在新產品功能的創新、自我品牌的建立與成本的競爭力要有突破性的提昇之外,還需有能令顧客滿意的產品可靠度水準,才能落實效果。透過品質管制可保證產品合乎所訂定的功能與規格,然而要使產品在其生命週期持續提供其功能,須從產品設計階段考量如何滿足可靠度目標。在本研究中以產品開發程序為主軸,引介可靠度設計與預測方法於相關開發程序。首先確認零組件規格設計是否足以承受系統應力且合乎其可靠度需求。接著評估系統設計能否滿足系統可靠度需求。靈敏度分析方法可在系統設計階段,調整系統參數,進而達成系統可靠度目標。可靠度設計程序結合了市場分析、產品設計、零組件認可、品質管制與製造等相關部門於最適的開發時機,作可靠度的預測、評估與改善,因而提昇了業者的競爭優勢。本研究以伺服器主機板及有線通信網路為例,分別介紹如何在開發程序中,進行印刷電路板組合及系統的可靠度設計、預測、分析、評估及改良。應用這些驗證過的程序與方法,可協助業者建立可靠度要求於產品設計、製造及零組件供應鏈,避免產品在上市後發現可靠度事故,以有效達成產品的可靠度及使用者滿意目標。

The electronics industry in Taiwan has experienced a booming era since the 1980s. But,looking on today's international competitive status, to keep the industry continue to grow, key factors should include brand name building, innovative functional features and competitive cost. In addition to these factors, a customer satisfied reliability is needed to realize the success of the key factors. Through the quality control, product functions and specifications can be achieved. To assure the product continue to provide its functions through its life span, a technique is needed to design the product meets its reliability requirements. This research applies product development process as an axis and provides applicable methods on reliability design and prediction for corresponding development processes. Components specifications design is verified on their strength to meet stress demand and component reliability objectives. System design is analyzed to compare with system reliability objectives. Sensitivity analysis is applied during the system design phase using adjustable system parameters to fine tune the system design for achieving system reliability objectives. Design for Reliability process integrated marketing analysis, product design, components qualification, quality control,manufacturing and other related departments work on the best timing for reliability prediction,assessment and improvement. Therefore, the product owner can attain the edge of competition. Motherboard in Server and Cable Telecommunication Network are selected as case studies for reliability design, prediction, analysis and improvement on PCBA level and system level respectively. Application on the validated processes and methods introduced in this research can assist the electronic industry to build reliability requirements on product design,manufacturing and component supply chain, prevent reliability issues in the field and effectively achieve the objectives of product reliability and customer satisfaction.
