幾丁聚醣/聚丙烯娃X中空纖維膜於滲透蒸發之研究

Study on chitosan/polyacrylonitrile composite hollow fiber membranes for pervaporation

摘要


本研究主要利用濕式紡絲法(wet spinning)製備PAN中空纖維膜,並且利用chitosan溶液以dip-coating方式形成CS/PAN複合中空纖維膜。此外,為了提升CS/PAN複合中空纖維膜於滲透蒸發操作穩定性以及長時間耐久性測試,將利用NaOH水溶液對PAN中空纖維基材膜先行預處理,同時於chitosan溶液中浀X(γ-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane(GPTMS))交聯劑。研究中主要探討GPTMS含量、交聯反應時間、chitosan濃度變化對於滲透蒸發分離醇水溶液效能之影響。 實驗結果發現,改變chitosan溶液中GPTMS濃度時,當GPTMS濃度增加至3 wt%,透過量會下降,而透過水濃度會有上升的趨勢。然而,當GPTMS濃度大於4 wt%以上,則透過量會上升,而透過水濃度會有遞減的現象。當交聯時間增加,透過量會先上升再下降的趨勢,但透過水濃度仍維持99 wt%以上。隨著chitosan溶液濃度增加,透過水濃度隨之上升,但透過量遞減。當chitosan溶液濃度為1.5 wt%、GPTMS 2 wt%、並於100℃行交聯反應時間1小時,於25℃下分離90 wt% IPA進料水溶液會有最佳分離效能,其透過率與透過水濃度分別為145 g/m2h以及99.7 wt%。 於25℃下進行70 wt%異丙醇水溶液之滲透蒸發操作時,CS(1.5 wt%)-GPTMS(2 wt%)/mPAN複合中空纖維膜之長時間穩定性可維持6個月以上,且透過水濃度均維持98 wt%以上。

In this study, chitosan(CS)/ polyacrylonitrile (PAN) composite hollow fiber membranes were fabricated by dip-coating CS solution on the outer surface of wet-spun PAN hollow fiber membrane. For enhancement the pervaporation performance and long-term stability performance, asymmetric PAN substrate hollow fibers were pretreated with aqueous NaOH solution and added γ-(glycidyloxypropyl)trimethoxysilane (GPTMS) in CS solution. The effects of GPTMS concentration, crosslinking time as well as CS concentration on the pervaporation performances for aqueous alcohol solution were investigated. It was found that the permeation rate and the water concentration in permeate increases with the GPTMS concentration up to 3 wt% of the CS solution. However, the permeation rate decreases and the water concentration in permeate increases when the GPTMS concentration is higher than 4 wt%. Furthermore, the permeation rate increases and then decreases, while the water concentration in permeate maintained above 99 wt% as increasing the crosslinking time. It was also found that the permeation rate decreases, but the water concentration in permeate increases with increasing the CS concentration. The permeation rate and water concentration in permeate for a 90 wt% aqueous isopropanol solution at 25 oC through crosslinked at 100℃ for 1 hr the CS(1.5wt%)-GPTMS(2wt%)/mPAN hollow fiber composite membranes were 145 g/m2h and 99.7 wt%, respectively. The CS(1.5wt%)-GPTMS(2wt%)/mPAN composite hollow fiber membranes were used to test the pervaporation long-term stability for 70 wt% IPA aqueous solution at 25 oC. The results show that the long-term stability was more than six months and the water concentration in permeate keep above 98 wt%.
