敘事空間再解讀 —以台灣當代平面繪畫作品為例

Reconsideration of the Narrative Space —Taking Contemporary Taiwanese Paintings as Example

摘要


平面繪畫作品藉由論述的再書寫紀錄,建立這場藝術文脈的思考,筆者藉由兩組畫面組成類同之藝術作品為研究對象,旨在探討畫面中所形構成出來的空間,當作品的畫面作為空間再現的語言時,是如何透過觀眾觀賞後的消解與重組影像,而畫面裡人的角色以及藝術家本身的角色如何介入影響,又如何的在畫面中被連結成關係。本研究中希望就台灣當代藝術平面繪畫作品的部分,藉由當代藝術之於台灣,探討耙梳出藝術家們在不同的社會文化境遇下創造了這個現代環境,創造出他們的理想。對於藝術家筆下這種對於不同社會環境的各種覺醒,希望有全新多樣的視角來處理,除了藝術家本身背景的意義外,更多的探討將著重於作品本身的精神重構,並希望能將對作品的解讀匯入敘事理論的系統中,並透過空間拆解離析各項要素的手法,使用表格與圖示的拆解分析,兩種並行管道下,納入作為筆者將之敘事空間模式化的輔助,以達對作品的解讀—消化—拆解—重組—再解讀功能,以求對作品有不同角度的重新認識,以及意義的展現。 重新閱讀作品與書寫,以他者的角色超越畫作本身的主體,介入其主體以外所建構的的虛幻之間,以及作品如何與觀者在互動的過程中再創作品的新連結。真實在畫面空間裡被模糊化甚至虛擬化,觀眾重新的閱讀是作品延續歷史生命的再開始。希望本研究與探討能為台灣當代藝術創作與繪畫空間的思考,進一步的發展有所助益,並且爲台灣當代藝術相關的理論研究留下一些有價資料,藉以對藝術史學反思有所建設。

並列摘要


Through discourse re-writing, graphic paintings forms the thinking into this artistic context. By the study on two paintings with similar style, this paper aims to examine the space constructed from the paintings. The goal is to know how the appreciators digest and re-form the image when paintings are deemed as the language of space re-presentation. Furthermore, the investigation on how characters in paintings and artists per se make their influences, and how they connect with each other by the paintings will be made at the same time. Through contemporary graphic paintings in Taiwan, this paper is to probe into how artists created such a contemporary environment and realized their dreams under different social culture. As to various awakenings from artists’ works towards different social culture, a new perspective is to go through. In addition to discussions over artists’ background, more investigations into the spiritual re-construction in works per se will be undertaken and the interpretation of works will be incorporated into narrative theory system. Moreover, by the assistance of the paper’s modeling the narrative space, together with the dissection on space and the analysis from charts and figures, the works will undergo the consideration — digestion — dissection — reformation — reconsideration process. And different perspective would bring new knowledge and meaning. The paper will re-read works and writing, surpass the entity of works per se as a third party, intervene with the illusory space structured outside of the entity and examine how works create new connections from their interactions with the appreciators. The reality is made ambiguous, even virtual, in paintings. And the re-reading from appreciators is a new start for works to continue on. I hope the study can be instrumental to further development in contemporary art creations and the which space of drawing in Taiwan. Valuable data is also expected to be kept for some about Contemporary Art and its theory in Taiwan and benefits the rethinking in art history.
