大尺寸PS球的製備及其擴散膜之應用

摘要


光學擴散膜主要由光學擴散層(散射粒子、微結構)、樹酯和透光率高等基材組成,將光源通過擴散層達到散射效果,使其變成均勻面光源。本研究以分散聚合製備窄粒徑分佈的聚苯乙烯球,以及種子聚合法、逐步溶脹法合成大尺寸聚苯乙烯微球。大尺寸聚苯乙烯微球採用階段性聚合而成,第一階段利用分散聚合,改變單體與穩定劑濃度,成功聚合出3 μm窄分散聚苯乙烯粒子,第二階段則是利用3 μm聚苯乙烯粒子當種子進行階段性成長,成功聚合出最大尺寸約45 μm的大尺寸微球。 為製備表面結構型擴散膜,將微米球用氣液介面沉積法,排列形成結構平面沉積於矽基板上,在不同微球尺寸與密度條件下以聚二甲基矽氧烷複製微結構形成壓印模仁進行翻膜,最後以壓印成膜的方式將紫外光光固化材料壓印於聚碳酸酯基材上,獲得具有擴散能力光學薄膜,並探討其光學擴散性質。以苯乙烯為單體合成的高分子微球實驗中發現,較大的球型粒子有良好的發散角,但穿透性較差,雙層結構擴散膜相較單層微結構擴散膜則有較佳的均勻性,且能減少繞射效果。

The optical diffusion film is mainly composed of an optical diffusion layer (scattering particles or microstructure), a resin, and a substrate having a high light transmittance, and the light source is diffused after passing the diffusion layer to become a uniform light source. In this study, polystyrene spheres with narrow particle size distribution were prepared by dispersion polymerization, and large-sized polystyrene microspheres were synthesized by seed polymerization method and stepwise swelling method. In the first stage, dispersion polymerization is used to change the concentration of monomer and stabilizer, and polystyrene particles with 3 m diameter are successfully polymerized. In the second stage, utilizing 3 μm polystyrene particles as seeds is to grow successfully PS microspheres with 45 m diameter by seed polymerization step by step . In order to prepare the diffusion film in surface microstructure type, the microspheres are deposited on the silicon substrate by gas-liquid interface deposition, and the polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) was used to duplicate the shape of PS spheres array to fabricate imprinting molds with different microsphere size and density conditions. The ultraviolet light curing material was imprinted on the polycarbonate substrate to obtain an optical film by using the PDMS mold, and investigate its optical diffusion properties. It was found that the larger spherical particles have a better divergence angle, but the light transmission is poor. The double-layer structure diffusion film has better light uniformity than the single-layer structure diffusion film and it also can reduce the diffraction effect.
