商業智慧系統的企業價值研究-以酒業為例

摘要


企業投資BI系統,是否可以實現企業價值?答案是大多數的企業投資BI系統都無法適切的使用BI系統。如何評估BI系統可以實現企業價值?這需要一套較為嚴謹且結構化的方法論。本研究採用較以企業為中心的BI機會分析法,建立衡量BI系統的評估架構,藉由企業策略目標的達成,而實現BI系統的企業價值。 本研究利用此架構進行個案公司深度訪談,並依據1.企業情境因素;2.企業競爭優勢;3.管理流程因素;4.創造利潤流程因素及5.作業流程因素共五項構面進行資料的彙整與分析。從企業情境因素與競爭優勢因素分析,瞭解企業的策略、目標、競爭優勢後,可推論出實現企業價值的BI機會。從管理流程、創造利潤流程及作業流程因素分析可得知目前BI系統的使用現況。將BI的機會與BI的現況進行交叉比較,並依對個案企業的影響、風險程度及專案相依性,歸納出可達成企業策略目標的理想BI機會,藉由策略目標的達成而實現BI系統的企業價值。 本研究之研究發現整理如下: 1. 目前國內欠缺探討BI系統企業價值的學術性研究,本研究以企業為中心的BI機會法,建立衡量BI系統的評估架構,並以此架構推論出適用於實務界的可行性評估方式,及供未來研究方向的參考依據。 2. 利用BI機會分析法的架構,以深入訪談方式,分析個案公司可實現企業價值的理想BI機會,與BI系統目前使用現況的差異。根據理想BI與現實BI的差異,提出可達到理想BI的建議方案,助於企業實現BI系統的企業價值。 本研究針對未導入BI系統的企業,在系統開發前,可明確先定義企業策略目標,並了解BI可產生的企業價值,有效的使用BI系統以免於浪費。對於已導入企業,則可重新評估BI系統的使用現況,改善目前的核心流程,有助提升BI系統的企業價值。

Can companies benefit from investing in a BI system and add business value? The answer is that the majority of businesses that invest in BI systems are unable to take advantage of the BI systems. To properly evaluate the business values that BI systems add, there needs to be a rigorous and more structured methodology. This thesis uses a business-driven BI opportunity analytic methodology to establish a framework to evaluate the BI system. Business value of BI systems can be captured through achieving business targets. This thesis is includes in-depth interviews with the case studies based on five factors: 1. Business Context; 2. Business Competitive Advantage; 3. Management Processes; 4. Revenue Generating Processes, and 5. Operating Processes. Information gathered from these interviews is then collected and analyzed. The opportunity for BI to capture the business value can be deduced based on Business Context and Business Competitive Advantage analysis, the business strategy, goals, objectives and business competitive advantage. Present usage of BI system can be assessed based on Management Processes, Revenue Generating Process, and Operating Processes analysis. By comparing the BI opportunity and present BI usage based on project placement, the business impact, and the risk scale, the BI opportunity to capture the business value can then be deduced. The main results of this study are as follows: 1. The present domestic academic is short of the study of the business value of the BI system, this study uses a business-driven BI opportunity analytic methodology to establish a framework to evaluate the BI system. This framework deduces a feasible business assessment model on a practical level and will serve as reference for future research. 2. This study uses the BI opportunity analytic methodology and utilizes in-depth interviews to analyze the ideal BI opportunity, the present BI system usage and the difference between actual and ideal BI system. This study proposes a plan to achieve ideal BI to capture the business value based on the difference between the actual BI and the ideal BI. For businesses that have not yet implemented the BI system, they should first clearly define their business strategies, goals and objectives prior to the system development process and define what the business value of the BI system is so that they receive the proper investment returns. As for businesses that have already implemented BI systems, they can assess the present usage of BI system in order to improve the core business processes so the business value of the BI system can be enhanced.
