ZigBee無線網路音訊傳輸之應用

摘要


摘要 在無線網路越來越普及的時代,將網路與日常生活整合,建構數位化居家環境已成為時代潮流。IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee是一種先進的短距離無線網路標準,具有低消耗功率、低成本、架構簡單、相互連結性高等特點。以ZigBee為基礎的無線感測網路可廣泛應用在監控家庭社區安全、工廠自動化設備狀況、醫療照護、交通狀況、農業環境的溫度溼度、能源狀況、電腦週邊配備、消費性電子產品等。本文的目的在建立利用ZigBee無線通訊網路傳輸聲音資料的技術,並探討資料大小和距離對傳輸品質的影響。根據實驗結果,獲知當傳輸資料量越大時,傳輸效率會變差,其中與系統資料緩衝區(buffer)的大小有直接關聯,系統資料緩衝區越大,傳輸效率越好。此外,在無障礙物干擾的情況下,短距離內可有效傳輸聲音資料。此技術的實現有助於未來將ZigBee無線通訊網路結合多媒體存取服務、感測器、控制器等,應用於傳輸資料量小、易於建置的數位家庭無線網路環境。 關鍵字:IEEE 802.15.4、ZigBee、無線感測網路、數位家庭

Abstract The integration of network into daily life to construct the digital environment for living is the tendency of the day because the wireless network is becoming increasingly popular. The IEEE 802.15.4/ZigBee is one of advanced wireless networking standards for short distance transmission and its characteristics are low power consumption, low cost, simple structure, and easy to connect with each other. The ZigBee-based wireless sensor networks can be widely used for monitoring home and community security, factory automation equipment conditions, medical care, traffic conditions, temperature and humidity in agriculture, energy conditions, computer peripherals, and consumer electronics. The goal of this paper is to build the transmission technique for audio data on ZigBee wireless communication network and investigate the influence on transmission quality caused by different data size and transmission distance. The experimental results show that the transmission performance becomes worse as the increase in the amount of data size and there is a direct relationship between transmission performance and data buffer size. In other words, the transmission performance will be better with the data buffer size becomes bigger. Furthermore, the audio data can be efficiently transmitted for short distance in the absence of obstacles. The implementation of this technology in this paper will help to integrate ZigBee wireless network into multimedia access services, sensors, and controllers for applying transmission of a small amount of data and easy layout of wireless network environment for digital family.
