噴射式大氣低溫電漿之牙齒美白研究

摘要


本研究利用自製的噴射式大氣壓力氦氣低溫電漿,進行牙齒美白研究。此電漿設備由自製的介電質阻擋放電型式之電漿反應器以及高壓阻尼波電源供應器所組成,該設備應用於牙齒美白最佳激發參數於工作電壓為14.4kV 與工作頻率134 kHz下激發電漿,此激發狀態的電流為0.0145 A,消耗功率為2.96 W,產生的OH基及活性氧物種數量最多。接著利用光學放射光譜儀檢測噴射式大氣低溫電漿可於391.32、668.45、706.21 和728.16 nm觀察到氦氣的放射光譜;而在297.65、309.00、777.32、845.74 和927.28 nm 可以觀察到OH基及活性氧物種的光譜,且激發20分鐘後溫度接近為30oC。研究中使用經過紅茶染色的牙齒做為牙齒美白效果的檢測,結果顯示利用本研究噴射式大氣壓力氦氣低溫電漿牙齒美白系統搭配水處理5分鐘與市售牙齒美白產品比較,美白效果無顯著上的差異。最後利用原子力顯微鏡、奈米壓痕試驗進行牙齒表面形貌與機械性質的探討,藉由原子力顯微鏡的表面形貌分析可得知牙齒經由實驗處理過後各參數的表面粗糙度皆為上升;奈米壓痕試驗可得知一般市售牙齒美白產品以及單純使用過氧化脲的組別會造成牙齒表面變軟,而有使用電漿牙齒美白的組別不會造成牙齒表面變軟。根據上述之結果,證實本研究成功設計及製作出一組介電質阻擋放電形式的噴射式大氣壓力氦氣低溫電漿牙齒美白系統,且吾人推估不會造成牙齒的傷害。

The homemade cold atmospheric pressure helium plasma-jet tooth bleaching system was used in this study. The plasma equipment of the system was using the damping-like factor generator to coupling high voltage coil, and combined the cold atmospheric pressure plasma-jet device. The applied voltage and the discharge current of a damping waveform are 14.4 kV and 0.0145 A respectively. The frequency is 134 kHz and the total power of plasma-jet is 2.96 W with applied temperature 31oC. The active species were tested in the helium plasma by optical emission spectroscopy (OES). The emission spectrum of helium can be observed at 391.32, 668.45, 706.21 and 728.16 nm; The spectrum of oxygen was located at 777.32, 845.74 and 927.28 nm. Black tea dyeing tooth were selected as test samples for verifying the outcome of this study. The initial result of this study shows that the homemade cold atmospheric pressure helium plasma-jet tooth bleaching system has no significant improvement compare to other commercially available products regarding the whitening effect. Finally, the tooth surface topography, tested via atomic force microscopy, explore topography indicates that the surface roughness of tooth were all increased after the treatment. On the other hand, nano-indentation test shows mechanical properties decrease in tooth bleaching product and Urea hydrogen peroxide group, but increase in plasma treatment group. According to the results above we successfully designed a cold atmospheric pressure helium plasma-jet tooth bleaching system, which may not result in a tooth damage.
