摘要

這份研究主要是探討日益增長的印尼籍勞工在台灣所遇到的生活壓力問題，而研究本身的目的主要是在解決印尼籍勞工在台灣所遇到的問題。
本研究希望能了解印尼籍勞工在台灣的工作環境、生活條件和他們所遇到的困難處來找到最有效的處理方法。本篇研究方法是採用質性研究，分析八位住在大台北桃園地區的印尼籍勞工，其中兩位為男性，六位為女性。
本文研究結果指出，雖然印尼籍勞工在台灣都只遇到了零碎的生活問題，但他們卻不會感覺到壓力，因為當他們遇到生活上的問題或壓力時，他們大多都使用手機來解決。對他們來說，手機擁有許多功能，如打電話或視訊、聽音樂、打電動、看電子書或電子聖經。此外，每週都和好朋友出門晃晃也能有效的解決壓力。

The background of this study is due to the increasing Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan year by year and most of them encountered with problems that cause stress which can effect their life during living in Taiwan. The purpose of this study is to find out about the problem and stressor of Indonesian migrants workers in Taiwan and the way they deal with it.
This study hopes to understand how the life of Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan, both the condition in their work place and outside the work place, to know their difficulties and the most effective way they usually do to deal with it. The researcher used qualitative case study and the analysis of eight Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan which consist of two male and 6 females. They live in Taoyuan-Taipei area.
Based on the analysis, most of Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan do not feel extremely stressful, they are just encountered with the common problems or difficulties. Most of them use mobile phone to deal with stress. For them, mobile phone has multifunctions; can be used to make a call/video call; listen to the music, playe game, and read the book/bible offline. The other way that effective enough to deal with stress is sharing with close friend by meeting up and gathering usually once a week.
