說場面話,是華人生活上常見的行為,但在過去研究中卻未對場面話概念有相關的論述,甚至對場面話存在負面看法。一般而言,場面話並不是必要的語言,其被認為是種經過修飾的話語,存在著某些用意,並會隨著對象場合改變而有所調整。本研究嘗試研究組織場域中的場面話,採用質性研究途徑,訪問二十三位具十年以上工作經驗的業界人士,深層探討受訪成員於組織中說場面話的原因,及其帶來的效果。採主題式分析後歸納以下發現:場面話是種經過正向修飾的語言,重新詮釋組織成員對某一人、事、物的看法。而組織成員會利用場面話來進行印象管理,以利其維繫自己在其他成員前的形象;同時,場面話也是其植於面子管理基礎的概念,組織成員會因顧慮他人的面子,會以嘗試修飾負面訊息,轉而以較正面方式傳達的場面話;其次,場面話往往能降低組織成員間衝突的可能性,以維持團體和諧。
Rhetoric Language, is a common behavior in Chinese society, but in the past, the concept of Rhetoric Language has the relevant discussion, it shows that the Rhetoric Language exists a negative view. In general, the Rhetoric Language is not a necessary language, it is considered as a kind of modified words with certain intentions, and it will change with the different objects. This study attempts to research the Rhetoric Language in the organization field, the use of qualitative research channels, visit twenty-three more than 10 years of work experience of the industry, the depth of the interviewed members in the organization said the reasons for the Rhetoric Language, to the effect. After the analysis of the theme of the following analysis: the Rhetoric Language is kind of a positive modification of the language, re-interpretation of the members of a person, things, things view. And members of the organization will use the Rhetoric Language to carry out the Impression Management, in order to maintain their own in front of other members of the image; second, the scene can often reduce the possibility of conflict between members of the organization to maintain group harmony.
