男性性侵害犯罪者的性喚起對其同理心歷程的影響

研究背景與目的：性侵害犯罪對人的傷害至深且鉅。同理心在性侵害犯罪的成因及治療理論中都佔有關鍵的地位，更是阻斷危險因子與性侵行為連結的重要保護因子。本研究目的是探討性侵害犯罪者會否受到日常生活可見性刺激造成的性喚起阻礙，而影響其同理心歷程與作為。研究方法：本研究共募集80位受試者，性侵害犯罪者40位、一般組40位，兩組各隨機分派至女性拼圖組及風景拼圖組，在拼圖前後都填答IRI與Eyes Test為前後測，所有個案於研究過程需填答4次情緒檢核表，研究結束前回答RAPE認知扭曲量表及MCSDS社會讚許量表。統計分析主要以3-Way ANOVA探討性喚起造成的同理心改變。研究結果：研究結果發現性侵組與一般組有同理心本質的差異，於觀點取替是性侵組大於一般組，幻想投入則是一般組高於性侵組，IRI總分及其他分量表未見顯著差異。經實驗操弄後，女性拼圖的確會造成受試者情緒的波動，一般組比性侵組更為明顯，但一般組在IRI前後測差異不顯著，而性侵組不分那一類拼圖，IRI前後測有顯著差異。眼神測驗結果則為一般組辨識女性眼神的正確率大於性侵組。討論：本研究之結果說明性侵害犯罪者的同理心可能在不同向度上有各異的特性，且可因為性刺激的操弄而改變。針對此研究結果，同理心應可運用在性侵個案的評估與治療。

Background: Sexual crimes cause profound damages to the victims. Empathy is a crucial inhibitor of the etiology of sex offending, and the most commonly mentioned issue in the treatment programs. The purpose of this study was to examine the distinctions of the nature of empathy and the empathic process under the effect of sexual arousal between sexual offenders and normal controls. Methods: 40 sexual offenders and 40 normal matched controls were invited to participate in the study, each group then randomly assigned into two subgroups, sexy woman puzzles or neutral landscape puzzles, to form a 2x2 design. All participants checked their mood state with a 1to10 mood scale at the beginning, before and after the puzzles, and the end of the experiment. They also completed the Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) and the Eyes Test twice, before and after the puzzle works. 3-Way ANOVA was employed to calculate the variations of the empathy process. Results: In summary, for the natural of empathy, sexual offenders scored higher at IRI-PT and IRI-EC, normal controls were better at IRI-FS, IRI-PD and the woman figures of Eyes test. The mood state of all participants raised after the sexy woman puzzles yet came down at the end of the experiment with debriefing works. Decline of IRI scores after both kinds of puzzle sets was found in sexual offenders as well. Conclusions: The patterns and process of empathy of sexual offenders were discussed in terms of the researching and clinical practicing implications.
