在「全球化」的推波助瀾下,伴隨著便捷的交通與網際網路,造就了頻繁的國際商務活動,使得參與國際貿易的企業勢須使用共通的語言作為媒介,因此國際語言能力成為人資教育訓練的重要議題。大前研一曾說,英語即戰力,即英語是最具市場價值的語言。現在不只外商公司,連本土企業都開始要求員工的英語能力,如此才能厚植台灣企業發展成國際企業的”軟”實力。 本研究的主旨為探討影響企業員工英語能力訓練成效之因素,對人資辦理英語教育訓練時,期能提出關鍵影響因素並能藉此提升員工英語能力訓練成效。本研究試圖以企業員工為出發點,整合英語學習理論與教育訓練理論,融會貫通之後,再以Kirkpatrick訓練成效為評估準則,以便更進一步地推導出影響英語能力訓練成效之因素。本研究探討的影響構面包含個人特質、訓練講師、訓練方式與工作環境對訓練成效之關係,訓練成效採Kirkpatrick前兩個反應層次與學習層次。 針對製造業及服務業對英語訓練成效因素的研究結果顯示,對英語能力訓練學習層次有顯著正向關係的因素有:自我效能、講師的能力與特質、互動教學法、標準教學法與社會支持;對英語能力訓練反應層次有顯著正向關係的因素有:講師的能力與特質、設計教學法與工作限制。
Under the stimulus of "globalization", along with convenient transportation and the internet, has created frequent international commerce activities. It is necessary that the international businesses use a common language as a medium to communicate, therefore, the international language ability becomes one of the most important issues of HRD. Kenichi Ohmae has ever said English as a combat capability is the most valuable language in the market. Now not only foreign companies, even local businesses are beginning to require their staff in proficiency in English, so that they can strengthen the "soft" power rooted the core competence in businesses toward international development. The main purpose of this study is to explore the factors on affecting English language ability training results of employees, hoping to find out the key factors and enhance the power in English when HRD applies for English language training for employees. This study tries to start form the employees’ point of view, integrating English learning theory and educational training theory, and furthermore, adopting Kirkpatrick evaluation criteria in order to derive the factors that effect on English ability training from the documents. The investigated four aspects of this study include personal characteristics, training instructors, training methods and working environment on the relationship between training results, which are the reaction level and learning level, the first two levels of Kirkpatrick. The factors on English training results for the manufacturing industry and service industry revealed that the relationship between the factors and learning level is positive, the factors affecting learning level are: self-efficacy, lecturer’s ability and characteristics, interactive teaching methods, standards teaching methods and social support; and the relationship between the factors and reaction level is positive , the factors affecting reaction level are: lecturer’s ability and characteristics, designing teaching methods and task restraints.
