在本研究中,我們為旅行緬甸曼德勒的遊客提出了一個語音導覽系統。該系統利用移動設備上的2D地圖來呈現,幫助遊客以更有效和寓教於樂的方式享受他們訪問的信息。首先,從維基百科中提取曼德勒宮的相關信息和圖片。然後根據其地理數據將這些信息聚集到不同的POI(景點所在位置)標籤中。此外,為了方便使用者,文本信息將被轉換為語音文件,並在以後以多種語言播放。通過利用智能手機的功能,系統從訪客的手機中收集GPS數據,並在附近的POI標籤上顯示他/她在開放街圖上的當前位置。當使用者的位置與POI標籤一致時,POI的語音將自動播放。此外,附近的POI標籤為遊客提供有用的信息,以便他們計劃他們的路線,以享受和理解他們所訪問的地方。最後,該系統還允許使用者添加和上傳特定景點的信息,從而允許景點管理者間接地與訪客互動。
In this study, we presented an audio navigation system for visitors to Mandalay, Myanmar. The system utilizes a 2D map on mobile devices to present the information which helps tourists enjoy their visit in a more efficient and edutainmenting manner. First, the relative information and pictures of Mandalay Palace are extracted from the Wikipedia. Then these information is clustered into different POI (Point of Interest) tags, according to its geographic data. In addition, the text information will be converted into a voice file and played later in multiple languages for users’ convenience. By utilizing the capabilities of smart phones, the system collects the GPS data from the visitor's mobile phone, and display his/her current location on the OpenStreetMap with nearby POI tags. When user’s location is consistent with a POI tag, the speech sounds of the POI will be played automatically. Furthermore, the nearby POI tags provides useful information for tourists to plan their routes for enjoying and comprehending the places they visit. Finally, the system also allows users to add and upload information for a particular attraction, thereby allowing the attraction managers to interact indirectly with the visitors.
