以 Google Android 智慧型手持裝置透過 Wi-Fi direct實現之車載通訊系統

摘要


儘管國際電機電子工程師學會已經特別為了車載通訊網路制定了802.11p的無線通訊協定,但在有了公認的協定之外尚須額外的硬體設備支持,才能讓現今市售的車輛來作使用。因此本篇論文提出了在智慧型手機上以Wi-Fi無線網路實作車載通訊系統,讓Android智慧型手機的使用者能夠透過簡易的安裝,將手機立即轉變成車載通訊裝置。從我們的實驗結果也證實,本系統不僅能夠適用在現實的道路狀況,同時也有極佳的通訊效能。

Although IEEE has already announces 802.11p standard for wireless access in vehicular environment (WAVE) to support Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) communication, but it’s requires additional 802.11p hardware equipment to let vehicles communicate with others using 802.11p. Therefore, we proposed an inter-vehicle communication system operating on android smartphone using Wi-Fi in this paper in order to substitute 802.11p onboard unit (OBU) before it’s widespread on modern vehicles. Experiment results shows that our system can not only be easily install to any android devices (android 2.3 and above) but also more suitable for vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) scenario than other systems.
