社會、經濟的快速發展,使得現代社會過分重視速度與結果。這樣的觀念亦影響了學校教育,學校過分重視生存知識與技能的培養,忽略引導學生體會生命的價值意義。因此當學生於生活上或學業上面臨困難,便容易以錯誤的方式尋求解脫。針對青少年漠視生命價值的情況,臺灣與香港皆希望透過生命教育的推行改善。在台港兩地生命教育發展的過程中,教會學校皆積極地投入生命教育的推行。兩地雖同屬自由民主的政治體制,但由於法律對宗教教育的實施的不同規範,致使兩地教會學校開展出不同的生命教育。本研究主要對曉明女中與培敦中學的生命教育教材進行分析,比較台港兩地教會學校的生命教育。根據研究分析結果,本研究歸納出以下三點結論:一、臺灣的教會學校教學自由受到限制。二、學校信仰對生命教育的影響仍在。三、學校於教材內刻意連結宗教,易使學生形成錯誤的宗教認知
Due to the rapid development of society and economy, people overemphasize on “speed” and “result”. School educations are also affected by this concept. Schools are too much emphasis on cultivation of survival knowledge and skills, neglect to guide students to realize the values and meaning of life. So when students face difficulties in learning or social life, they often seek solutions in wrong ways. People in Taiwan and Hong Kong tried to improve the foregoing problems by implement of life education. In the developments of life education in Taiwan and Hong Kong, church schools actively engage in carrying out life education. The two regions both belong to free and democratic political system, but because of different law norms on religious education, church schools are developed different life educations. This study mainly compares life education of the church schools in Taiwan and Hong Kong by analyzing the teaching materials of Stella Matutina Girls' High School and Stewards Pooi Tun secondary school. There are three conclusions in this study: 1. Teaching freedom of church schools in Taiwan is limited by the prohibition of religious education. 2. Life education is still affected by school faith. 3. Because of the contexts are intentionally related to school faith, students may have incorrect views of religion.
