以生物碳/過硫酸鹽混合藥錠處理受三氯乙烯污染之地下水

摘要


三氯乙烯(Trichloroethylene, TCE)為地下水中具有毒及持久性之有機污染物,是世界各地長期之環境問題,有效處理受污染之含水層面臨著許多困境,因此本研究以生物碳(竹炭)結合過硫酸鹽氧化法製作對環境無負擔之新型綠色整治藥錠,利用控釋氧化劑物質及生物碳活化過硫酸鹽之新型技術,處理受三氯乙烯污染之地下水。本研究主要目的包含:(1) 評估不同黏合劑之控釋氧化劑能力;(2) 探討竹炭結合過硫酸鹽整治藥錠之控釋氧化劑能力;(3) 探討不同數量之整治藥錠釋放過硫酸鹽之濃度及時間;及(4) 探討各種整治藥錠對三氯乙烯之去除能力。   本研究所使用之三種黏合劑中,控釋效果最佳者為A纖維素,於整治藥錠去除TCE之機制中,無去除三氯乙烯之效果,僅提供賦形之功用,且A纖維素與水接觸後經溶脹作用形成水凝膠之特性,使其成為良好的控釋材料,達到控釋氧化劑之目的。以竹炭結合過硫酸鹽之整治藥錠,對於三氯乙烯之去除率高達99 %,除了經由竹炭活化過硫酸鹽,使其具有更佳的氧化能力之外,竹炭本身之吸附能力,亦會增加其整體之去除效率,本研究改善了其他活化氧化劑技術之侷限性問題,使其成為具發展性之整治有機污染場址的新技術。

Trichloroethylene (TCE) was one of the most toxic and persistent organic pollutant in groundwater. There are a lot of barriers on the way of remediating polluted aquifer. In this study, bamboo charcoal was used coupled with persulfate oxidation to synthesize a new type of remediation tablet that was friendly to the environment. A new technology combined with controlled-release oxidant (CRO) and biochar-activated persulfate was developed for the remediation of TCE- contaminated groundwater. The main subjects of this study were to: (1) evaluate the ability of different binders to control the release of persulfate; (2) evaluate the ability of bamboo charcoal-CRO to control the release of persulfate; (3) evaluate the effect of tablet numbers on the concentration and time of persulfate release; and (4) evaluate the removal efficiency of TCE by the developed CROs.   The results show that A cellulose had the best performance for the control of persulfate release. A cellulose alone did not remove TCE. The function A cellulose was to form the shape of the tablets and after A cellulose contacted with water, its characteristic of forming hydrogel allowed it to become a good controlled-release material. TCE removal reached 99 % by the remedial tablets of bamboo charcoal coupled with persulfate. TCE was treated by the charcoal-CRO tablets via adsorption and persulfate activation by charcoal that enhanced the removal of the pollutant.
