癌末病患生命調適動力之研究 －以相片回顧介入為例

摘要

本研究探討一位癌症末期男性面對死亡之生命調適。研究目的為：瞭解癌末病患之生命歷程、其生命調適之內涵，以及探討相片回顧介入對癌末病患生命調適之影響。本研究係以相片回顧訪談的方式取得研究文本，以訪談逐字稿與研究者札記等原始資料進行質化分析之研究。
據本研究結果，對身為癌末患者之研究對象其生命歷程之分析包含五點：1.戰地兒女性格－剛正不阿、好打抱不平；2.努力撐起全家的大樹－留台奮鬥完成全家移居心願；3.公職生涯贏得敬重－堅守本分、不貪不取；4.抗癌體悟人生－上天注定、多積功德；5.相片介入後的生命轉換從抗拒不說到娓娓道來。針對癌末病患生命調適之內涵的分析包含：「靈性成長」、「積極善終」、「利他」、「調整與放下」、「回顧人生」，以及「珍惜與家人共處」。相片回顧介入對癌末病患生命調適動力之分析包含：「促發關照自我需要」、「幫助清楚人生價值」、「幫助一般化現在的受苦經驗」、「增強操之在我的信心」、「促使感受人際支持與連結」、「回顧增進自我肯定」，以及「積極創造與家人共處時光」。
本研究透過研究結論與探討，希望提供癌末病患家屬、臨終關懷工作者與未來研究方向一些相關建議，使癌末病患之生命調適過程中能獲得較多溫柔關照、支持與力量。

This research is to discuss the life adjustments of a man of terminal stage cancer patient. The aims are to understand the life course of the terminal stage cancer patient, the content of life adjustment, and the effect of the intervention of life-album review on life adjustments. The researcher got data by life-album review, and analyzed the interviewing transcriptions and researcher’s notes by qualitative analysis method.
The results of this research show the important turning points in the life course of the research participant, and terminal stage cancer patient’s personality, back ground, and sources of achievement had impact on his life adjustments. The results of the analysis show that life adjustments of terminal cancer patient could include promote spiritual growth, positive plans and actions, more flexible attitude toward life, furthermore, treasuring the moment getting along with family. The intervention of life
album review had positive impact that could found in participant’s life-perform, including promoting self integration and interpersonal support in the research participant’s life.
Through the conclusions of this research, the researcher hopes to give some advice to caregivers, palliative care workers and correlative researches in the future, and let terminal cancer patients get more tender concern, support, and power in their life adjustments.
