國小圖書館與學生閱讀行為之個案研究-以臺中市一所國小為例

摘要


學校圖書館可視為教育的基礎建設,因著教育的改革、順應世界潮流之趨勢,圖書館的經營模式應該與傳統有所不同,在設計規劃上以讀者為出發點考量其喜好與需求,方能吸引學生入館駐足閱讀。 本文主要目的在於探究國小圖書館與學生閱讀行為之相關,透過半結構式訪談,瞭解國小學生使用學校圖書館之情形、新舊圖書館對國小學生閱讀行為產生的影響,及國小圖書館設計規劃與學生閱讀行為之關係。研究主要結果如下: 一、學生使用學校圖書館以從事借閱書籍及休閒娛樂居多。 二、新圖書館館藏豐富新穎,能增強閱讀動機、提高閱讀數量。 三、新圖書館閱讀氛圍寧靜舒適,能提升學生閱讀動機、提高閱讀數量。 四、圖書館的新舊與否,對有閱讀習慣的學生而言,並不影響其閱讀動機、借閱頻率。 五、圖書館提供的設備服務親切舒適,能提升學生閱讀動機。 六、閱讀推廣活動能提升學生閱讀動機,然隨著學生年級的提升,對其影響愈小。 七、圖書館內部設計明亮、溫馨具童趣的閱讀角,能提升學生閱讀動機。 八、圖書分類清楚及動線規劃明確,能提升學生使用動機。 九、圖書館的位置影響借閱頻率,然不論遠或近,學生還是抱持著持續使用圖書館的想法。 根據研究結果,研究者提出若干建議作為學校圖書館改建之參考。

School libraries can be regarded as the foundation of education. Due to the reform of education and the trend of conforming to the world trend, the business model of the library should be different from the tradition. In order to attract students to stop and read, the design and planning should be based on the reader’s preferences and needs. The main purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between elementary school libraries and students’ reading behavior. The research method of this research applies semi-structured interviews, in order to understand the situation of students using the school library, the influence of the old and new libraries on the reading behavior of elementary school students, and the relationship between elementary school library design planning and students’ reading behavior. The main results of the study are as follows: (1)Students use the school library to engage in reading and borrowing books and leisure. (2)The new library collection is rich and novel, can enhance the motivation of reading, improve the number of reading. (3)The new library reading atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, can improve students' reading motivation, improve the number of reading. (4)Whether the library is old or not, for students with reading habits, does not affect their reading motivation and borrowing frequency. (5)The library provides equipment services cordial and comfortable, can enhance the motivation of students to read. (6)Reading promotion activities can improve students' reading motivation, but as the grade level increases, the impact on students decreases. (7)A bright, warm and childlike reading corner inside the library can enhance students' motivation to read. (8)Book classification and the line planning is clear, can enhance the motivation of readers to use. (9)The location of the library affects the frequency of borrowing, but students still hold the idea of continuous use of the library, whether far or near. According to the research result, several suggestions are provided as references for the renovation of the school library.
