社區諮商工作者專業認同之研究

摘要

本研究主在探討「社區諮商工作者專業認同」議題，研究目的在於：（一）探討社區諮商工作其社區諮商專業認同的內涵；（二）探討影響社區諮商工作者其專業認同的因素；（三）探討社區諮商工作者跨越專業認同困境之方法。根據研究結果，為社區諮商專業訓練與發展提出建議。

本研究採「質性研究法」之方式，透過深度訪談蒐集資料，以「主題分析法」進行資料分析，研究結果如下：
（一） 社區諮商工作者專業認同內涵，包括「積極熱忱的專業形象」、「多重專業角色」、「社區諮商專業服務範疇廣泛」、「適性服務的專業能力」、「系統、綜合性的專業服務模式」、「諮商專業服務的參照架構」與「對跨專業工作內涵具心理意涵的區隔」。
（二） 影響社區諮商工作者專業認同內涵之因素，包括「個人經歷：引出對社區諮商專業的興趣」、「個人特質：偏好具挑戰性的社區諮商」、「雙重專業背景因素：帶出專業定位的困擾」、「實務訓練經驗：自覺社區諮商專業訓練不足」、「專業知識體系：尋覓不著清晰理論取向」、「專業環境文化：與主流諮商專業文化的衝突」與「專業價值之落差：現實報酬與理想具差異」。
（三）社區諮商工作者跨越專業認同困境之方法，包括「實務工作中汲取正向回饋」、「突破專業形象框架，尋回自己的專業價值」、「對專業工作的自我省思與修正」與「擴大專業認同範疇」。

根據研究結果，分別對社區諮商工作者、社區諮商教育訓練、及未來研究提出相關建議。

This paper is to study the issues of ‘community counselors’ professional identity’. The purpose of this study is to find out a) what　content community counselors recognize in their community counselling profession b) what the factors are to affect community counselors’ professional identity, and c) what the ways are to deal with the obstacles in community counselors’ professional identity. According to the research, the author provides suggestions on professional trainings and development for community counseling.
This paper is conducted by the method of qualitative research. The data collected is through in-depth interviews, and it is analyzed by the process of ‘thematic analysis.’ The results have shown the following:
a) The professional identity of community counselors includes ‘the positive and passionate professional images’, ‘multiple professional roles’, ‘the wide range of services provided by community counseling’, ‘professional skills to adapt, basing on clients’ needs’, ‘the systematic and integrated professional service mode’, ‘community counseling as reference when doing professional counseling’ and ‘the awareness of the differences between community counseling and others when interprofessional work is involved.’
b) The factors to affect community counselors’ professional identity includes ‘personal experiences which may lead to interests in community counseling profession’, ‘individual’s personality which makes one do community counseling because of this profession’s challenging nature’, ‘expertise in different professional backgrounds which can lead to professional identity confusion’, ‘practical training experiences which may make community counselors sense their own lack of professional trainings’, ‘domain Knowledge which makes community counselors feel hard to fit in a specific theory approach’, ‘the culture of profession conflicts with that of mainstream counseling’, and ‘the gap between real salary and ideal expectation’.
c) The ways for community counselors to tackle obstacles in professional identity include: ‘to get positive feedback from practical tasks’, ‘to break the stereotype in their professional images and find their own professional values’, ‘to reflect from the professional tasks to adjust as well as improve accordingly’, and ‘to broaden the range of professional identity’.
According to the research results, the author provides related advice respectively to community counselors and community counseling training programs and the future researches.
