The rapid development and popularization of internet creates a good environment for development of Internet of Things (IoT), in which its industrial application shows promising outcome. And, the Agricultural Industry in Taiwan is facing the process of transformation and refinement. Therefore, in recent years, many greenhouses are established with a purpose of micro-management of climate to match the criteria of production, which is commonly done by environmental control equipments such as ventilation, water vapor system, wall of waterfall and etc. Some even have semi-automatic trickle-irrigation system. But, the process can only be efficient if the farmer has the experience and knowledge in this subject. Thus, the research developed a cloud-based monitoring system by using the IoT technology to collect environmental information via various sensors for farmer to determine the best course of action. And, by mobile APP, all operation records and charts would be recorded, along with the growth status, details of field management, and control to various environmental equipments to provide a more convenient method of managing the greenhouse for farmer.
