本研究旨在探討台灣地區高等教育學術近親繁殖現象,並以中國語文學系為例。透過相關文獻探討以及調查資料進行台灣地區中國語文學系學術近親繁殖現象,並且連結中國語文學系之學術生產力以探討兩者之相關程度。研究對象為台灣地區國立大學中國語文學系與台灣文學研究所共計20個系所,其中包含352位專任教師取得最高學歷之單位、專任教師個人學術生產力調查、專任教師擔任之職級、大學所在地區與學術近親繁殖現象,綜合上述資料探討學術近親繁殖現象於中國語文學系之現況。研究結果發現:一、近親繁殖現象於台灣北區比率相對為高;二、近親繁殖現象於助理教授職級較常發生;三、近親繁殖率與學術生產力於中國語文學系中呈現正相關。
Under a global trend of higher education expansion, the need for post doctoral members in universities is decreasing and becoming a threat to the maintenance among higher education institutes. One of the phenomenon lies between is faculty inbreeding that reproduces faculties from aluminum who obtained Ph.D. degree in the original institute. This study aims to address certain phenomenon in Taiwan public universities, taking institutes of Chinese language and literature for example. After surveying on 20 public universities, the study found that there is relationship between faculty inbreeding and academic productivity. The results reveal are as follows: (i) faculty inbreeding occurs in northern part of Taiwan more frequently than other districts; (ii) assistant professors are the majority that faculty inbreeding mainly occurs; (iii) a positive correlation appears between the rate of faculty inbreeding and academic productivity.
