中文摘要 本研究之目的在於以敘事分析的方式瞭解大學男同志學生的出櫃經驗。研究參與者為五位有出櫃經驗,認為自己為同志並在普通大學或科技大學內就讀的學生。研究者以敘說分析的方式分析訪談內容,之後將敘說分析結果改寫成故事形式,同時將敘說分析結果加以詮釋分析,最後建構出本研究中五位研究參與者獨特的生命故事以及出櫃經驗的分析。 綜合本研究中五位研究參與者的出櫃經驗,研究者發現:大學男同志學生考量是否出櫃的因素有對本身同志身份是否已經認同、與同儕之間互動關係是否友善、家人面對同志議題是否表現出接納的態度,以及面對不同性別對於同志議題的接納程度有差異;大學男同志學生出櫃時運用的策略有直接表明同志身份、藉機向好友出櫃,以及使用不承認也不否認的方式;而大學男同志學生在出櫃後的改變則有情緒有了宣洩的出口、能更認同自己的同志身份、願意更積極為同志發聲,對於未來滿懷著希望;至於校園環境、南北地域性、媒體和宗教則是其他會影響同志出櫃的相關議題。 根據以上研究發現與結論,本研究針對同志方面、校園方面、社會方面,及未來研究者提出建議。
Abstract The purpose of this study is to explore the coming out experiences of gay college students. In this study, a qualitative research method is adopted to in depth interview five students in colleges who identify themselves as gays and has coming out experiences. The result is analyzed by the narrative analysis method. The main findings are as follows. The factors estimate gay students in colleges to come out include: the degree of their gay identities; the relationship with their schoolmates; their families’ attitudes toward homosexual issues, and different genders were not identical in views toward homosexual issues. The coming out strategies used by gay students in colleges include: show their gay identity directly when be questioned; through appropriate opportunities declare their gay identities, or by ambiguous ways. The changes after gay students in colleges coming out include: they could release the pressure from their unspeakable gay identities; they more accept their gay identities than the past; they are willing to do favors to help other gay students, and they are looking forward to their futures positively. Based upon the findings above, this study proposes some recommendations for gay students in colleges, the authorities of school, society and future studies.
