偏鄉學校設置開放式角落圖書櫃以推動閱讀之研究

摘要


摘要 本研究以台灣中部偏遠地區的卓越國小、芬芳國小、寮寨國小、草根國小、魚香國小、甲溪國小等 6 所偏鄉學校為研究區域,旨在探討偏鄉學校設置開放式角落圖書櫃以推動閱讀之現況與影響。 本研究採質性研究方法,並輔以半結構的訪談大綱來蒐集研究所需的資料。訪談對象是由六所偏鄉學校推薦對推動閱讀熱忱的 2 位校長、 2 位主任、2 位圖書專責教師,透過 6 位學校教職員訪談描述,以瞭解偏鄉學校在推動閱讀的理念、歷程、困境以及對學校設置開放式角落圖書櫃所帶來的影響和展望,再進行研究結果與討論。各項研究資料經整理分析後,獲致以下結論: 一、六所偏鄉學校一致認為閱讀教育的推動,對偏鄉、弱勢與資源缺乏的學生皆很重要。在理念上,尊重孩子個別差異,培養孩童主動閱讀習慣,學習和世界接軌的基本技能和生活能力,都有著與推動閱讀密切關連。 二、推動閱讀教育歷程中,六所偏鄉學校認為在前教育部長曾志朗的提倡下,教師們由下而上成立閱讀專業教學社群,教師運用閱讀與學生對話,並鼓勵家長參與,讓他們體認到陪孩子閱讀是非常重要的。 三、偏鄉學校推動閱讀在作法上,六所偏鄉學校透過整合校內外資源,利用設置開放式角落圖書櫃來營造校園閱讀環境氛圍,解決偏鄉孩童閱讀習慣普遍偏弱的問題;而在推動閱讀時,角落圖書櫃可以滿足一看再看的需求,成為學校推動閱讀的幫手。 四、六所偏鄉學校有系統致力於推動閱讀教育,贏得家長信任,運用開放式角落圖書櫃借書、看書的方便性,拉近與學生的距離,影響孩子閱讀習慣,把閱讀當成生活中一件重要的事情。 五、偏鄉學校設置開放式角落圖書櫃推動閱讀的展望,透過閱讀養成孩童自學習慣,並將閱讀延伸到學校課程裡;建議讓課外書籍跟孩童與書零距離。 最後,本研究根據上述研究結果,針對偏鄉學校推動閱讀教育、提供設置開放式角落圖書櫃單位、對主管教育行政機關,以及未來研究者等方面提出建議。 關鍵詞:偏鄉學校、開放式角落圖書櫃、推動閱讀

Abstract This research takes six rural schools in the remote areas of central Taiwan, including Zhuoyue Elementary School, Fenfang Elementary School, Liaozhai Elementary School, Grassroots Elementary School, Yuxiang Elementary School, and Jiaxi Elementary School, to explore the The status and impact of setting up open corner bookcases to promote reading. This research adopts qualitative research method, supplemented by a semi-structured interview outline to collect the data needed for the research. The interviewees were 2 principals, 2 directors, and 2 book teachers recommended by six rural schools who were passionate about promoting reading. Through the interviews and descriptions of six school staff, we learned about the concept, process, and Dilemma and the impact and prospect of setting up open corner bookcases in schools, and then conduct research results and discussions. After collation and analysis of various research data, the following conclusions were drawn: 1. The six rural schools agreed that the promotion of reading education is very important for students in rural areas, disadvantaged and lack of resources. Conceptually, respecting the individual differences of children, cultivating children's active reading habits, and learning basic skills and life abilities that are in line with the world are all closely related to promoting reading. 2. In the process of promoting reading education, the six rural schools believed that under the advocacy of the former Minister of Education Zeng Zhilang, teachers established a professional reading teaching community from the bottom up. Teachers used reading to communicate with students and encouraged parents to participate. They recognize the importance of reading with their children. 3. Rural schools promote reading In terms of practices, the six rural schools integrated resources inside and outside the school, and set up open corner book cabinets to create a campus reading environment to solve the problem that children in rural areas generally have weak reading habits; When promoting reading, the corner bookcase can meet the needs of reading and reading, and become a helper for schools to promote reading. 4. The six rural schools are systematically committed to promoting reading education, winning the trust of parents, using the convenience of borrowing and reading books in open corner book cabinets, shortening the distance with students, influencing children's reading habits, and making reading a part of life. an important thing. 5. Schools in rural areas set up open corner bookcases to promote the prospect of reading, develop children's self-study habits through reading, and extend reading to the school curriculum; it is recommended that extracurricular books be kept close to children and books. Finally, based on the above research results, this study puts forward suggestions for promoting reading education in rural schools, providing units with open corner bookcases, and making suggestions for competent education administrative agencies and future researchers.
