本研究旨在探討大學生使用Instagram之使用動機、自戀以及自我概念的關係。本研究以1136名擁有Instagram帳戶並且有在使用的大學生為研究對象,採用問卷調查法,研究工具包含「Instagram使用動機量表」、「自戀特質量表」以及「自我概念量表」。研究資料以描述統計、獨立樣本t考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關、逐步多元回歸等統計方法處理。主要發現如下: 一、大學生使用Instagram之動機主要是為了滿足「認知需求」。 二、不同性別會影響大學生使用Instagram之動機,女性比起男性大學生更重視「認知需求」、「情感需求」與「紓壓需求」。 三、不同性別的大學生使用者在自戀程度有顯著差異,男性較女性更為自戀。 四、不同性別、年級和學院的大學生使用者在自我概念上有顯著差異。 五、不同Instagram使用經驗之大學生在自戀與自我概念上皆有顯著差異。 六、Instagram使用動機與自戀呈現正相關,其中以「個人價值需求」與「表現慾」之構面相關最高。 七、大學生使用者之自戀與自我概念呈現正相關,其中以「影響操控力」與「社會自我」之構面相關最高。 依據上述研究結果,對大學生提出相關具體建議,並提供後續研究者未來研究可行之方向。
The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship among the motivation of Instagram use, narcissism, and self-concept of college students. The participants in this study included 1136 college students who have Instagram account and use it in Taiwan. For the empirical study, three measurements included the Motivation of Instagram Use Scale, Narcissistic Traits Scale, and the Self-Concepts Scale of College Student. The collected data were analyzed and interpreted by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Product-Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression Analysis. The major findings of the study were as follows: 1.The mainly motivation of college students to use Instagram is “cognitive needs”. 2.Different genders will affect the motivation of college students to use Instagram. Female college students pay more attention to "cognitive needs", "affective needs" and "tension-release" than male college students. 3.Narcissism of male college students is significantly higher than the female ones. 4.College students in different genders, grades, and colleges have significant differences in their self-concepts. 5.College students with different experience in using Instagram have significant differences in narcissism and self-concept. 6.The motivation of using Instagram and narcissism are significantly positive related. 7.Narcissism and self-concept are significantly positive related. According to the results above, suggestions to different aspects are mentioned.
