In order to cope with intensifying globalization, as well as changes in domestic demographics which have led to imbalances in Taiwan’s formal education system, private colleges and universities have been undergoing structural improvements by implementing innovative policies in recent years. Achieving more diversified and innovative school development and sustainable management requires joint efforts from both administrators and teaching faculty. When an administrative staff member receives support, it can have an impact in terms of their level of commitment to the job as well as perceived job insecurity. This study focuses on administrative staff in private colleges and universities in central Taiwan. It primarily explores the correlation between perceived organizational support, organizational commitment, job insecurity, and job involvement. A quantitative, empirical study was conducted with a total of 167 valid questionnaire responses received. The conclusions are as follows: 1.The higher the perceived organizational support of administrative staff, the higher the sense of organizational commitment. 2.The higher the organizational commitment of administrative staff, the higher the sense of job involvement. 3.The higher the perceived organizational support of administrative staff, the higher the sense of job involvement.
